I've used a spray bottle of water just to get it wet enough to hold the seasoning, and if as the last poster does you can spritz it while it's being popped the air should dry it rather than allowing it to soak... don't be heavy handed with the sprays though

you could use the exercise notes field (app or website) to track your weight / sets / reps if the strength training field doesn't cut it for you while you want a calorie burn, you can even note the "exact" exercise being done whether it's a leg day or an upper body day etc.
