  • Hi Everyone? i have not done Les Mills Combat but i am a Les Mills BODYCOMBAT instructor (the original classes that the beachbody program is based). i have the LMC DVDs and was actaully lucky enough to participate in the filming events in the UK. • Hi There, sounds like you are getting into the swing of the class. BODYCOMBAT is the best martial arts based group x class in the world. It is brilliant and only gets better the more you do it. You can begin to concentrate on technique, getting higher, longer and faster with all the moves. Keep it up you will love it. When…
  • Hi BODYCOMBAT is awesome you should be able to adapt to your level of technique and fitness. But go for it dont hold back. You wont regret it. BODYPUMP is a great follow up to it, cardio and conditioning then strength and toning, a perfect mix. enjoy J
  • Hi I do BODYCOMBAT a lot and burn between 1000 and 1200 calories according to my HRM. Calorie burn really depends on you so if you dont have an HRM get one, they are great. BODYPUMP will be less calories but you will develop good muscle tone and control that will help with fitness and how efficient your body is. The great…

  • I think it depends on your workout days..if you you work out really hard then a rest day could be walking a little or swimming or just going about your business. If you training is a little less intensive then you should probably just walk and on rest days. I tend to work out quite hard on training days as I am forced to…
  • I would suggest you try a BODYPUMP class twice a week. It will work your entire body and core also. You will get shaped and stronger. You can adjust the weights to be as heavy or light as you feel comfortable with. When you train with others it tends to motivate you a little more, you will do those last two reps or sit ups…
  • yes they are 100% focussed on this, they train 3 times a day I think and are on strict diets that will promote weight loss. they have nutrition guidance and trainers on hand. They have the chance to change and the good ones grab it and do really well. Also the more you have to lose the more you do lose, the body is amazing…
  • yeah i am a pump fan also.. the new one has a great squat track. A year ago i couldnt do squats or lunges, now i can do both. I reckon you just have to push it really hard and try to get really low for few weeks, its gonna hurt but after that you will be able to do it every time. Its all about technique imo for these tracks
  • no groups that I know of, but I would be up for joining
  • I have done a couple of BODYCOMBAT 50 now and you are rights it s a toughy....But Its great. i am loving the lunge track, total killer but really good. I have also recently started to do BODYATTACK, differently intense and fun although for me not as addictive as BODYCOMBAT
  • I have used both Alli and its more potent (double the strength) doctor prescribed xenical. The information says its to be taken in conjunction with a low fat diet, essentially it reduces the absorption of dietary fat. Therefore the less fat you eat the less you 'don't absorb'. If you continue to eat in way that is not…

  • I am a little saddened by this thread and the attitudes in it...surely you were all in the situation of wanting to change something about yourself at some point..and probably most of you still are...after al thats why you started to go the gym or eat better or walk or whatever you chose to do. The fact is that these…
  • I recently did Body Combat 49....I thought it was great...very different to 48 in that it involves less technique and more working hard to burn and get aerobic. If you are new to COmbat this could be a good release to get stuck into...if your an old hand this is a good release to blast through and really get a body…
  • Hi, this might be down to the saline balance in your cells..if you are dieting hard and not taking in enough salts...the right ones of course. Your cells may not be able to absorb enough water and therefore you feel dehydrated. Ot if your eating too much salts you could be sucking water out of your cells via osmosis and it…
  • Hi check this out http://www.powerhoop.eu/results.html
  • Hi..I am the same.. I dont think you should stop drinking unless you intend to stop drinking forever...to me this journey we are all on, is a way of eating healthy and getting up and moving, more of a lifestyle change and not a 'diet' to get me to a weight that I will feel socially comfortable at. I want to be healthier…
  • At my Body Combat Class on last Friday two new people thought I was the instructor and tried to give me their tickets etc....I was a little embarrassed as the real instructor saw and she blushed.... Inside though I was dead chuffed...does that count as an NSV or is it just vanity??

  • Ok..is this girls only? • Body combat is great...I love it. When I started it was tough co-ordination is the hardest thing, but after a few weeks it gets easier then you enjoy it and can work really hard. My wife and I do the classes together and we help each other with technique and learning the routines. Go for it...don't hold back...everyone in…

  • Hi, yes Quinoa is great and is easy to prepare in advance and cheap. Also you can get gluten free couscous which is actually rice based and is easy to flavor with anything. I usually try a chicken or fish based mix with loads of stur fried veg, put it in a container and it will stay good in the fridge for 4-5 days. I t…
  • Hi I am not sure if this thread is still live but I am male, 6ft 1" 114kg (currently, was a lot more) and I burn about 1000cals in a combat or body step class according to 2 different HRMs. I work very hard in combat and do not take any options, full movement on all punches through the body and hips etc...it really makes a…
