I've done this at Gold's Gym before. It's an intense workout but you will feel SO GOOD afterwards. I was very overweight at the time I 'stumbled" upon the class by accident but glad I did it. You may not be able to do all the moves but don't give up. Just modify the moves to your level and if all you do is step back and forth in place and do the upper body stuff just keep moving. It's a little intimidating but worth it.0

Take krav maga - get in better shape as well as learn how to defend yourself in a street fight.
My two cents.0 -
Thanks! Going to give it a try tomorrow. Don't know if you don't try right?0

Body Combat is a lot of fun! I was a little intimidated at first but if I felt tired then I would just move my feet to the beat rather than bouncing. Great workout and it's not boring at all! You're beat by the end but feeling good!0

Body combat is great...I love it.
When I started it was tough co-ordination is the hardest thing, but after a few weeks it gets easier then you enjoy it and can work really hard. My wife and I do the classes together and we help each other with technique and learning the routines.
Go for it...don't hold back...everyone in there is actually nervous because thats how most people are..especially women in these situations...they are all worried about how they look and what they are wearing....(i dont mean that to sound derogatory, just an observation of self confidence). The point is that you should not feel you should not be there. The instructor should offer 'options' on the harder moves and there are always lower intensity versions of pulsing and running etc.....
check out youtube for an idea of what the classes are like
Go for it and enjoy!
