  • I fell off the wagon for a while but am back on track. Still doing a lot of walking and gardening but miss my Richard Simmons DVDs and plan on starting them again soon. Most of my vegetables are planted and so most of the gardening is done for now.

  • Monday I did a Leslie Sansone workout and yesterday I walked an extra mile for my exercise. I need to plan better for my busy days-both exercise and food! Got a LOT of yardwork and gardening to do today!
  • I take Sundays off from formal exercising but I do get lots of walking in! It's my day to myself--I go to church then either to the Farmers Market or Food Co-op, etc. I just do what I want on Sundays! Going to have a good day today--I can feel it! The sun is shining and it is beautiful outside!
  • After doing well all day I had a bit of a slip last night. I did stop before it turned into a binge, though! Doing better today and will remember to be more aware tonight. Did my toning and balance workout and am doing really well with food choices!
  • I seriously hate recording my foods. I never kept it up-not online, not on paper, not in an app. Thats why I'm using his Food Mover-I just push the right button for each category's portion. Seems to work for me so far!
  • I grew up eating English-style fish and chips (fries) in Eastern Massachusetts and then a local potato cop company stared making them. They were bought by Frito-lay and they started selling them nationwide. I still love them but I prefer the thicker, kettle-style on the rare occasions that I indulge!

  • I'm sorry I'm not able to get here every day but I am at 8 miles out of 15 (not counting any done at work).
  • One more mile walked. I think that leaves 10 still. I'll have to check once I am able to use a non-mobile device. LOL!
  • Goal: 15 miles 4 miles done, 11 to go (not counting miles walked while working.)
  • I walked 2 more miles this past week for a total of 3 miles so far. 12 miles from my goal of 15. (I am not counting the walking I do at work.)
  • So far I have been eating more veggies and walked for 1 mile today. I know I'm starting slowly but I also know I won't keep it up if I do too much at once. Slow and steady wins the race--right?

  • I just rejoined MFP. I used to walk with Leslie or outside with my grandson every day but when I started working two news jobs all that changed. I have since quit one of the jobs and now I want to start walking again. I am still very busy but I will commit to 15 miles.
