  • It's so hard to get re-motivated once you've "fallen from grace." Start right from the beginning of a day and make sure you have your tools in the house. You can do it, even if you have to "fake it to make it" the first couple of days. xoxo
  • That is terrific! You look like a completely different person. Thank you for inspiring all of us! I think your telling your husband you need his support is key. My husband rolls his eyes every time I start again (he looks like he did in his 20s). I pretty much told my husband the same thing the other day when the eye…
  • That is awesome! You look fabulous and I'll bet you feel fab too! Keep up the great work. :)
  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my Nutribullet!!!!! A friend accused me of working in their marketing dept, I love mine so much. ;) Never go over half for veggies in the beginning though, or you will be turned off. Now I do, but I didn't after my first extremely grean, leafy one. My faves: 1. Cucumber, parsley, avocado, dime-sized…
  • Vegetaria chili for sure! Homemade with pinto beans, crushed and fresh tomatoes, garlic, onion, diced bell peppers, corn, cumin and chili powder. Serve overa little bit of brown rice. Or eat from a mug. Mmmmmmmmmm Also red lentils cooked with diced onions in vegetable stock is awesome, filling and yummy. Or split pea soup.…
  • I juice and blend with a nutribullet. I do it at least once per day, but often do it two. I'm trying to juice more and recently got the Jack LaLanne juicer but it's such a pain to clean. LOL: feel free to motivate me!
  • I've gone from vegetarian to vegan this year. I did post a couple of raw things on the thread asking about lunch/dinner options, but I'm not 100% raw. I like cooked food and do see some benefit from it (killing bacteria, etc). I do have raw friends though and juice/eat raw frequently, but not all the time. Great to meet…
  • I cut up baby potatoes, carrots (I slice thin the long way), onions and broccoli, put in a roasting pan, pour low sodium organic veggie stock in the pan and roast for about an hour. Then I have a quick lunch or dinner already made. I also mash up chick peas in a food processor with a garlic clove, 1/4 red onion, sea salt…
  • I'm in. Read "How to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease." Also buy a Nutribullet - low cost and easy way to add veggies to your daily servings. It's the poor man's Vitamix. I start my day with one and it's made a world of difference. I'm new to My Fitness Pal - looking for vegan/vegetarian friends to compare notes with if…
  • You look fabulous. Keep it up!
