I've never done cheat days. Once my sweet cravings were dealt with, I didn't feel any need for them.

I so very rarely have cravings now that I find the occasional ones quite easy to mollify. One or two dark chocolate covered pecans is about all I can handle in the way of treats.

Eggs! We buy ours at a farmers market, and it works out to roughly 20 cents per egg. Great source of protein and healthy fats!

There's a bit to lose, but I'm not in a panic about it. I'm just going to keep eating the way that I eat, and if my body decides it needs a lower set point, so be it. When I started out, I thought there'd be no way in hell that I'd be happy with my body under 170 pounds, but here I am at 158 and really enjoying it. There's…

I'm 50, and been LCHF for the past year. Great results in terms of body composition and I feel much better.

No worries - if you're only eating your own snot, it's calories in=calories out.

This...plus without clothes.

Only one piece of bacon? That seems wrong. FWIW, two eggs seems woefully inadequate as well. I cram as much bacon into the pan as possible - usually 6 slices. I cook my 3 or 4 eggs in the same fat. Pass on the toast/hashbrowns/misc starches. In interesting stats, I've eaten roughly 75 pounds of bacon this year...and just…

Unfortunately, Franks variants on their traditional sauce all have too many weird additives for me to contemplate using them. I just get the regular stuff and dress it up as I like.

Franks. On eggs, I put plenty of butter in the pan with the Franks. Tastes like wings.

Diets don't work in the long run - permanent lifestyle changes do.

This! I eat high fat/moderate protein/low carb. The fat and protein satisfy me, so I can trust by bodies hunger response.

About 30g/day for me.

According to Friday's diary entry, you drank 24oz of red wine. That ain't helping.

Stratford LCHF I view food as fuel rather than entertainment, so I've managed to avoid being a yo-yo dieter. That, and the fact that I'm not on a Diet.

If you actually looked at the OP's diary, you'd note that she's drinking dry white wines...and you can see that there's no sugar associated with them. Personally, I'd suggest going LCHF, and that's as much as I'll say on the subject.

That recommendation was based on flawed science.

Two or three, most days. Our household (me, the wife, two dogs) go through 2.5-3 dozen per week.

Going wheat free helped me break my sugar cravings. I'm grain-free now, aside from the occasional bit of rice with sushi.

So their answers don't fit your preconceptions? Doesn't fit your macros? You know you can change them, right?

I don't even track my food intake anymore. I just make sure to keep my carb intake low. I tracked on MFP for the first two months. After that, I'd learned what the carb content of most foods is. As you can see LCHF is still working for me.

I make pizza using the crust recipes in the Wheat Belly cookbook. The one that incorporates cheese as part of the crust to give it better structure is particularly good. I also make the focaccia recipe from the WB cookbook. Just had a melt-type dish made with a slice of focaccia, three pieces of peameal bacon and a nice…

I like beer. However, my former regular go-to beer, Creemore Traditional Pilsner is 200+ calories per can, and has 20g of carb. The large carb hit makes beer a no go for me, as I'm limiting my intake of carbs. Red wine is great, and I'm even partaking of the occasional shot of whisky.

There's a worse one with Oldman. Dead Fish. Quite possibly one of the worst movies I've ever sat through.

I'm not missing the wine...I'm drinking it!
