Hybrid, I try to log everything the night before, or first thing in the morning. I do this so I know what i'm lacking, or over, or how hard I may need to workout in the afternoon. However, I allow myself enough flexibility to Enjoy the Suprises that come along My Way. :glasses:

if feasible, invest in a Heart Rate Monotir (HRM), and generate an exercise. this will help w/accurate logging.

I have the same issue. I can hit a mile very easily outdoors, but not indoors. I think that the treadmill has perimeters of space and speed. Outdoors we can walk faster w/o having to increase the speed, and we have more room to walk freely so our strides are longer. This is what I tell myself, but I would like to read what…

Hi JulieLynn, I use to take it at the Gym, now I do it w/Turbo Jam. It's a full body resistance (strength) workout w/free weights. It's normally done in a slow to moderate pace.

Go on to BeachBody's website; you'll find a couple of good ones. I currently use Chalean's Turbo Jam: Turbo Sculpt & her Lower Body Workout; and some minor Strength Training w/Stott Pilates Fitness Circle & The Wii Fit Plus. I'm going to step things up in late August and invest in "ChaLean Extreme" workout.

I too invested into a HR Monitor. MFP calories were somewhat lower than my HR Monitor's Output, and somewhat higher on other workouts. The HR Monitor factors in my: Resting Heart Rate, Weight, Height, Activity Level, and Effort. You can repeat the same workout with a higer or lower impact, so your output may pretty well…

I don't count: gum, mint, certain spices, and seasonings. I pretty much count everything else, or simply add quick calories for smaill things. In the past, I would not count fresh fruits & veggies. I started back w/Walking & Wii Fit Plus. If feasible, the Wii has fun exercises such as: balancing, coordinaiton, and funcitonal game trainigs; strength training; cardio; and yoga workouts.

I have a PTF7. It cost around $80. There's a Sports Line Brand (w/o the strap) that cost around $30 (walmart). My opinion.... Warm Up 5-10 mins, stretch, Weight Lifting, stretch, then Cardio, and stretch again. That's if you're doing it all in one session.
