I would think that you'd be able to lose weight during this time. Just be mindful of the quantity and the types of foods that you are eating instead of all of the "festive" foods.

I've been doing that too! I'll have too much at work and come home and want the big meal for dinner. My husband still doesn't understand why I could possibly pass up a plate of his fantastic spaghetti or tacos or frozen pizza (He does most of the cooking)! But he's starting to.

I'd say it's up to you! If you feel like you want to count it, then do! I do some exercise with my kids that I don't count as it is just too slow for my liking. But there are others who say count it.... The challenge is just meant to get you moving.

Can you have serve apples or some other fruit or perhaps some veggies with a dip? or does "tea" mean a sweet baked good? If you are wanting to try some healthier alternatives (still sweet) Chocolatecoveredkatie.com has some excellent recipes. But keep in mind, they may not be the lowest in calories.
