29 min is a very god time for a first 5k. There will be lots of people slower than that. You won't have any problems.

Hi WannabeSlim14, I haven't looked in on this group for a while. I was sleeved nearly 5 weeks ago, and recovery has been pretty good. (I went to the Czech Republic as had no chance of getting suregery on the NHS where I live. I had about 110lb to lose. Hope things go well with your surgery.

Hi, I'm Alison. I am going to have surgery at the end of November. The date and surgeon are fixed but I haven't decided whether to have a gastric plication or a sleeve yet. Having the surgery booked has been quite motivating as far as diet and excercise goes.
