It's definitely easier when you're younger, after the 1st baby....versus being older with a second (or in my case, 5th, that did me in lol). I've dropped weight with a little effort within 7-8 months after every baby except this last one til now. You just have to find what works and keep at it. Maybe adjust your calorie…

I am also a lover of makeup! When I started gaining weight last fall, I sorta did the same thing...rather than buy new clothes in a depressing size, I splurged on the "good stuff" for my face at ULTA. lol I've amassed quite a collection of Urban Decay products, which I absolutely LOVE! :-D Its so fun.

I usually do the running, but even then I only burn about 65% the calories I would at the gym on the elliptical in the same amount of time. I like the step aerobics too, but that's not super calorie-burning either...does anyone know how adding the step affects the calorie burn? Also, super hula hoop is pretty intense. I…

AMAZING! :-) Good job to everyone in here for taking the initiative to step up and lose those pounds....now excuse me while I go for ice cream with my children and friend (hey, I've saved up my cals today and will be running them off later lol).

When I get busy, I have more of a problem finding time to exercise than eating right. I am like others here, a bit obsessive about the calories and food....my husband asked me last night, "Ummm, honey....are you going to be this nutty about calories forever?" Hahahaha....anyway, having my android phone with me helps. I…

Woohoo, so excited to be part of the group! This is different for me in that in the past, I've either dieted (drastically) without much exercise, or exercised regularly without changing my (poor) diet. My biggest goal is to make eating healthy a habit, while gradually increasing my activity. I have done daily brisk walks…

I am also a working wife and mother of three, and have definitely been on the cycle you describe. I have also come to the point where I'm just not comfortable in my own skin, and none of my jeans fit anymore either. I've determined that this was the year to get healthy and to get moving, no more excuses...not dieting just…

I'd love to join! I'm at 179 now and would like to be down to 150 by the time I turn 30 in May. :-) Or sooner. lol
