Day 4 is rest day then start again so bit more than once a week

Unfortunately I don’t have the equipment at home to hit legs properly. Will start when the gym opens again but I’m getting in deadlifts on back and abs day which are ruining me at the moment!!!
-
I have Asthma but it’s well controlled but besides that no other ailments. Maybe i need to try another sport or something and see what the effect is there
-
Just for comparison, I’ve been doing c25k and my heart rate gets a touch higher to 135bpm max and average 123(ish) bpm

Just about to complete week 1, haven’t eaten out in 3 weeks and kept an eye on cals (1500 a day) and have lost 3lbs this week. Also played tennis during the week too for 90mins

I should probably add that I don't feel bad or like I'm straining myself too much and am keen just to increase fitness so I can play more. I wonder if I'm addicted!
-
I don't think there's anything wrong with a binge every once in a while. I just counter it with exercise
-
The seated leg lifts look achievable, I don't think my upper body strength would allow the other suggestions especially the hanging exercises! Much time required to improve!!!

If you've been tracking since March balance the pizza out against the last three months of eating less. Not quite so bad now (although I wouldn't recommend it on a regular basis!)? I started properly at the beginning of this year and lost a stone in the first 4 months but the last 6 weeks has been stuck at the same weight…

Interesting, Ive spent 5.5hrs in the garden today and it says I've burned 1800cals. Eaten normally and feel full so not eating them back but it seemed way over. Maybe I'll try wearing the hrm too...

My other half plans out our weeks worth of dinners and i always have the same breakfast due to it being easy and not very time consuming so its only lunch that i have to worry about

Thanks for the replies all. Just to answer a few questions not that I think it would make any difference to the comments but I cycle on average 6 miles a day so I didn't think 20 miles would be an issue. I did a pre and post ride weigh in and lost 2lbs so assume that this was all fluid either in sweat or breath. I'm not…

1) Cycling & Walking 2) Control asthma, get some muscle back, burn more to eat more, get fresh air and enjoy the countryside! 3) Make the exercise part of your lifestyle. I cycle to and from the train station and walk to and from the station to the office making it no extra burden on my day!
-
Cycling has worked for me. 6 miles a day at a relatively vigorous pace.
-
I If only i could eat 13st worth of food!!! Mmmmm! Lol

I say gained 3lbs. It wasnt a steady gain. It went from 13st 4lbs down to 13st then back up to 13st 3lbs. Im back down to 13st 2lbs now. All i was really interested in was changing body shape and losing the gut so as long as that's going i don't really care!

Saturday is my day for indulgence! I exercise every day during the week and have a 400 or so deficit a day below my goal amount and Saturday is my day for rest so my calories normally go over by 600-800. Still balances out overall for the week so I don't really care. Can see why some would avoid having a day like this…

During the week I cycle from home and back to the train station and walk to the office from the other side. I rest on the weekend but carry on eating as much which balances things out overall. Have lost 12lbs since Feb and down a good few inches on the belly!

I like my FT4. It's a good way to chart cardio improvement over time. The calorie count doesn't seem too bad in my opinion. I use it in conjuction with a calculator (link below) as my thoughts were that it would include what I would have burned anyway plus the exercise. I fell off my bike though and scratched the screen…

A reliever is precisely that, relief if you're suffering wheezing after exercise (or any other trigger item). If you're looking to take prior to exercise then you need the preventor inhaler (brown one normally) which is a steroid and should be taken everyday to prevent - it's in the name! - wheezing due to triggers. I have…

From the Home section click on Add Exercise... If you're on the Android app click on add and you should see at the bottom of the page an option for cardio or weights. Not sure on iRubbish iPhone

My polar HRM measures me at about 800cals per hour keeping my heart rate towards the 80% mark. Cycling makes me ravenous too. I'm just trying to figure out how I can keep the hunger off. Big breakfast and big lunch and small dinner seems to be the best way for me.
-
Thing is I don't feel hungry so don't want to be eating for the sake of eating if that makes sense.
-
Just to clarify, I'm eating back what I burn and my carb goal is 50%, protein at 20% and fat at 30%
-
On the app if I change the weight/amount and the fixed option (1g/50g/100g/tbsp/cup) together then it seems to go a bit wonky and I have to amend it again.

Water retention in the muscles that you are using as they try to repair and possibly but probably not yet extra muscle mass. I wouldn't worry about weight as compared to your overall body image. If you've added exercise most definitely don't reduce your calorie intake further. You'll most likely pass out as I nearly did…

I've not read through all the posts but I have the same issue after losing 10lbs. Self discipline is key and remember why you're trying to lose weight. I don't know if you're incorporating exercise into your lifestyle change but for me that is a key factor allowing me to eat treats. Give it a try, I find the thought of how…

I can certainly sympathise with a long day. Mine starts at 5:20am and doesn't finish until about 7pm-8pm either then there's a 5 month old baby waiting when I get home! I found that cycling to the train station rather than using my motorbike/car has helped. It only takes 5mins more if there's no traffic. If there's traffic…

It's all the more difficult if there's people around you that are eating unhealthy foods but stick with it and avoid the temptation. Once the weight starts coming off and you find you can do things more easily that will be the motivation that you need. The hardest part is getting going! Congrats on the baby by the way! My…

I hate people saying that they're on a diet. It should be a lifestyle change that incorporates eating well combined with exercise. There's no need for it to feel like a diet as the above says if you do some exercise you should be able to have a few treats a week without it making a difference. Also finding foods that you…
