Try not to worry and stick with it. I'm on level 2 day 8 and up until today I had gained a lb. Today FINALLY my weight went down a lb below where I started. I have however lost 3 inches from my waist, an inch from my hips and several more inches elsewhere :)

^^^^This. It asks more questions about how much activity you actually do, so to me it seems more accurate.

I'm on Level 2 day 8. I haven't lost any weight while doing it, with a calorie deficit. But I lost 2 inches from my waist during Level 1. I just measured again yesterday and have lost an inch from my upper arms and .5 inch from my hips. The big thing that I've noticed is that I can actually feel muscles forming and…

I only drink wine on the weekends. This has helped, and I have seen no slow down in my weight loss for it.

I have a vacation planned in August and I'm aiming to be 145 by then or a size 8 which ever comes first. I'm 5' 7"

Question... are you new to running or have you been running before in different shoes with no pain? If new to running it may be that your feet and calves are stiff and causing it and not the shoes.
-
Sounds like Plantar Faciitis. It's common in people with high arches. (have high arches and am recovering from PT). I just was fitted for running shoes and they had me try on medium stability. They had a treadmill at the store so I was able to run before purchasing. If it were me I'd try to take them back and get something…

This is exactly what I did. I had been running with my sneakers on and doing 30DS for a couple of weeks. One night I had the brilliant idea to do 30DS (which has lots of jumping) without my shoes on. The next day I had the pain. I though I could just walk it off but it got worse. It can take months to recover from, so take…

Yes a bruised heal feeling- thats exactly how mine felt. I was afraid I fractured something. The dr took an x-ray and also saw a very small heal spur. Heal spurs are common with people who are at risk for PT.

Likely Pantar Faciitis. I am recovering from it now- going to physical therapy. It's most common in people with either really high arches or very low arches. I got it from all of the jumping in 30DS combined with running. If you have pain in your heal first thing in the morning when you get out of bed I can tell you almost…

You can mix plain Greek yogurt with garlic and chives for a really great veggie dip. Add shredded cucumber and its great on grilled chicken or steak pita sandwiches.

Level 1, day 3: I felt like I was going to puke during jumping jacks, it was more of a struggle to do the modified push ups, the bicycle crunches were near impossible (I had to make my own modified version toward the end) the weights felt heavier. When it was done it seemed worth the pain so all is good! Ready for day 4…

Me too. Hopefully my HR monitor will arrive in the mail this week and I can get an accurate read.

I just started 30DS on Saturday, tonight is day 3. Be happy to join all of you! Day 1 was not as bad as I expected, except for the ab exercises, and I can only do modified push ups. Day 2 was harder because my muscles were tired. The worst were the bicycle crunches. Still can only do modified push ups. I'm using 3lb…

I'm in! Starting weight on 1/21/13: 176.6 Problems: I eat a mostly vegetarian diet during the week so I'm looking to add more protein- less fruit. I also like to drink wine on the weekend and that's a hard habit for me to break.

It gives me more energy during the day- which was a surprise. It makes me feel good about myself and better plan what calories I will eat during the day. I used to make excuses after work or have other evening obligations that got in the way of my workout time. Working out in the morning has left me with no excuses. I…
