Love this group! I hold myself accountable even though I don’t see my MFP, friends face to face. My weight loss hasn’t been fast, but with my swimming/working out in the pool. I have defeated built more muscle. I can do basic things easier, like standing up and putting my legs in my pant legs without tipping over, I know…

Ok I guess I may not be looking in the rain place either. Is the google doc attached? I thought it would be in the bell, but I don’t see anything
-
Kat, did you look at the little bell at the top right of the page. It’s my first always, it should be fun

I have a friend, I’m waiting to see if she found us yet?

I’ll post it on my Facebook and see if we get anymore takers

Have you set up the google doc yet? Just making sure I didn’t miss the link someplace

This is something I would be interested in. I like that it has daily goals that are same as mine as well as a few extra. Please sign me up.

My luck I would get into a car accident and then the paramedics would be like "what the heck does she have a trash bag on for?"

Holy Smokes! you look great! I am so glad you shared!

also sitting in the sauna helps with sweating the chlorine out of our body and you tend to itch less. (At least for me) If you notice your hair changing there is this stuff called Malibu C that cleans the chemicals out of your hair. I have only found it online, but it is so worth it. The swim cap will only do so…

I agree, because if the cat gets outside it cannot get up a tree when a dog chases it down. I've seen it happen, the poor cat was scared to death..

I use the bead method also. I have large beads on a nylon rope. Works great, then I log it as leisure swimming because I do have to stop every couple laps and I figure under estimating is better then over....

I steam the frozen ones with bacon bits, I like them a little softer, I love them but kinda forget about buying them, :)

A thyroid test is not that expensive, you are only doing more damage if it isnt working properly... Also I am 5' 9'' and my Dr has me on 1200 calories and 22-24 grams a fat a day, with excercise

I self used to loose myself while swimming. I made a string of larger beads on a twine rope. I started off with 14, which I wasnt able to do all of when I started. I think it took me an hour to do have the string. (dont laugh I was one that swam from one side of the pool to the other and had to stop and gasp for air) Now I…

I am with you, confused! I use up my sugar for the day and yet my sugars (most) are fruits and some veggies. So why are snacking on fruits so much better than per say a candybar. (other than everything else bad in a candy bar) I hope you get some really good educated answers. Looking up the explanations on line are…

I know everybody's case is different but I would just like to share what worked for me, and has made such a huge difference in my life. From June 2012-until Dec 2012 my RLS had gotten so severe that all I could picture was a future of hell. I had gotten to the point that I feared going to bed because I knew what was…

thanks for posting, and there is something to it regardless of what the FDA says.

swimming, or water arobics. I swim laps at the YMCA and they have many classes for water arobics also. It is usually 60+ crowd, many are overweight. Most have problems with arthritis, knees, or just dont have the strength for weights. The water helps with the balance and of course takes the pressure off the joints. They…

May sound crazy, but tylenol. not sure why. I was told to take it to help with the crankiness, but have found it also helps with the out of control cavings
-
I would have it checked again. while loosing weight your metabolism is changing which is connected with your thyroid. your tyroid also runs your thermistat, I have been on thyroid medication for 20+ years and it hadn't changed much. but just out of the blue it decided to stop producing all together. I am always cold, in…

Thank you so much for the information. That makes us feel a little better. I must say those labor rates are crazy. She has a 1996 chevy S-10. We have had the truck since it was almost new and has been a great little truck. Even with close to $3000 into it, what are you going to buy for $3000? A car with bad shocks, struts,…
