Thanks Sarah! I wasn't sure if it was too low or what.

I've been hypo in the past, am on levothyroxine now to address that issue. Got levels checked to see if I need to go up, stay same or go down on meds.

The last time I checked my thyroid was 6 months ago. I had my blood drawn last week but won't get the results until next Monday to see how my thyroid is doing. Thanks for your help.

My bf is 5'7 and about 205 pounds, so just a little overweight compared to me. He supports me now that I'm counting calories and trying to eat a little bit better, and doesn't complain too much about the veggies I make him eat.

It's taken since the first of the year to lose that. So it's within the right range of weight loss per week. I'm just impatient.

Great post, thanks for your input.

That's great Mike!

I'm 27 with PCOS and Metabolic Syndrome. I'm on glucophage and have been on and off for probably 5 years. It doesn't seem to make it any easier to lose weight for me. I also have hypothyroidism which doesn't help either. Anyone is free to add me if they'd like.

I've got IH too, so thanks for posting this success story. Hopefully when I lose the weight I'll go into remission, after having this for 8 years.

Thank you both for your information. I want to see about getting the A1c tested, even though my FBG has been normal as far as I know. ETA: nevermind, I found old bloodwork and found the A1cs... both were 5.0, in the acceptable range. But my doc has me down for Metabolic Syndrome and on metformin.

I have a trip to Maine this summer and it requires flying on a plane. Soooo I need to lose weight to feel more comfortable flying in an airplane seat. Unfortunately it's slow going and I'm not going to reach my mini goal by July like I'd hoped, but I'm hoping it will be enough for me to still be comfortable on the plane.

I have hypothyroidism as well, and am on levothyroxine. Not sure the dosage. I see my endocrinologist in March. Wish it were sooner. Edited to add I have PCOS and IIH as well. All three seem to work against me to lose weight.

bump, any others with Intracranial Hypertension? How have you managed to lose weight?

Today I'm at 337.7 and my goal is 200 as well. I think I'll be happy there, that's all.
