mom, you may not have won the Fitness Challenge in terms of total points, but you are still a WINNER. you probably were the clear cut winner in terms of total calories burned. Your motivation and commitment is partly what spurred Aleks and I to create the fitness challenge in the first place.

OUTSTANDING MOM. Your lowest weight in 30 years?? That is wonderful. i am so happy for you!! Way to stick with it, you are a model for us all!
-
way to go mom. keep it up. i broke the 160 lb. barrier this morning - registering at 159.8. i am aiming for a mean lean 155 lbs. my jeans have been hanging off my hip for three weeks now.
-
keep it up mom. i have not been posting my comments on here lately...mostly just logging my activities on the "exercise" page. it is good to see that you are feeling better and back at it.
-
good job mom. i was wondering if you were going to be in a position to maintain your "pace" while in okotoks. way to stick with it.

since the exercise "lay off" of a three to four days i have been finding myself extremely energetic on the treadmill and my endurance has improved. i was on the treadmill twice today and tonight i ran for 18 minutes straight and still had enough energy for more.

got back at er after what seemed like days off - oh yeah, it was days off - 4 to be exact. first high impact exercise since sunday morning. tough to get at it on those days when i work until 10:30, unless i am doing something first thing in the morning. burned 340 calories and did over 2 miles on the treadmill tonight.
-
mom, only 515 calories??
-
good job mom keep it up! 615 calories?? that is amazing.

looks like i am the only person consistently posting on this board. oh well, i like to read my comments anyway. i motivate me!

did a circuit of push ups, followed immediately by crunches and then a plank to failure. did several ciruits with a few minutes of rest in between. the planks got increasingly more difficult especially when alaina and lukas thought it would be a good idea to sit on my bank. not quite enough core strength to stay stable…

after a couple of days of no exercise i was back at it this morning with 20 minutes on the treadmill watching sports highlights. i was very tired last night and had no desire to exercise, but that is exactly the reason why i should have. i intend to get back on the treadmill again tonight for a more intense workout. this…

good job mom. keep it up. you are a true source of inspiration for us all.

MILLERMOOLA! did you say lettuce wraps? what is in there with the wraps? perhaps i will try some. good to see you made the time to get on the treadmill.
-
i would appreciate the $$$ soon so i dont have to collect my winnings later. ha ha ha!!
-
did another 22 minutes of cardio tonight at very high intensity: intervals of 1 minute of walking (3.5 to 4 mph) and then 2 minutes of running (maxed out at 9 mph for 90 seconds).
-
jumped on the treadmill for 25 minutes this morning and burned 262 calories - just a little shy of 2 miles. the time flew by like nothing watching sports highlights! i think that i will probably jump on the treadmill again tonight and go for another 25 minutes - got some catching up to do. if there was room to use the…

was away for a few days for work purposes and did not have the opportunity to exercise so i need to get refocused starting tomorrow morning. will resume with treadmill work and perhaps some core exercises.

IT HAS BEEN A GOOD FIRST WEEK. WAY TO GO JAROD - 12 POINTS. KEEP IT UP KID. AFTER A DAY OFF I GOT BACK AT IT AGAIN TONIGHT. I AM FINDING IT MUCH EASIER TO GET ON THE TREADMILL IN THE EVENING THAN EVER BEFORE - ALTHOUGH I DO STILL PREFER IN THE AM BEFORE BREAKFAST. BOTH ALEKS AND I ARE AWAY FROM YORKTON FOR WORK OVER THE…

if you were moving around and moving things around i suppose it could qualify.

did some pretty intense running tonight. 30 minutes combination of walking and running for a total of 266 calories. it is easier to keep it up when i am watching a hockey game on the tube. i was watching "NHL on the fly" and was not going to stop until the snippets from the Leafs game were shown - this did not happen for…

don't forget to send me the entry fee. so far only the matriarch has. she did before the competition even started. must really have been looking forward to it.
-
i like your moxie ma. 693 calories? that is outstanding. you are definetly setting the standard for this competition.
-
Just finished 20 minutes of yoga with aleks. flexibility has always been a weak point (that is why i have pulled my hammy several times during ball games) and tonight was no exception. my hamstrings are already sore. thanks aleks for asking me to join you in yoga.

excellent fitness goals jamie. packing on those pounds of muscle will be a challenge for sure jamie - protein, protein, protein! a good buddy of mine won the Provincial Masters Bodybuilding Championships last year - he weighed abouy 180 at the competition and was absolutely ripped. He showcased his abs to a few staff and…

Miller Munch, have you see Super Joe's curves lately?
-
started off day one of the fitness challenge with an hour of floorhockey preceded by 30 minutes of low impact volleyball.
-
Now things are starting to heat up. How come i am the only dude so far? Must be chicken. Can't tally the points if they don't log on and report their exercise. Played a game of floor hockey for about an hour this afternoon with the boys at Orcadia. I was huffing and puffing - one of my colleagues offered me his puffer -…
