  • It’s probably stupid, but I want my neck to become thinner and more defined so that I don’t look like a fat, middle aged “Karen” when I cut my hair super short. My thick neck is one part of my body I’m most self-conscious about.
  • Most coffee shop drinks. The "refresher" drinks at Starbucks are among my favorite for this reason. Nuts Trail mix Peanut butter Granola Sandwich bread Yogurt Soda Ice cream
  • I agree, it looks raw in the middle
  • I’m almost 26 and 5’5”. My goal range is between 140 and 150lbs. I was very content at 145 when I reached that weight around age 19 and would be thrilled to return there to stay.
  • I've lost nearly 55lbs and began running almost a year ago. In that time I've run a 5k, a 10k and will hopefully be completing a half marathon in October. I feel like a different person because I went from wearing long pants, tee shirts and hoodies year-round to wearing fun dresses and painting my nails bright colors…
  • This is what it came down to for me. I'd been gaining weight for months and had many false starts, but one day I knew it was just time.
  • I didn't really have a specific moment that sparked my most recent weight loss (this isn't the first time I've lost these pounds lol). Really it was a gradual, sweaty, red-faced journey to the realization that I needed to make changes because I was miserable. Summer 2018 was a doozy at 5'5" approaching 230lbs., and I was…
  • YES. So much this. Mine are slowly getting better. Time to be petty......I sometimes fantasize about running at the riverfront park downtown, looking fit and with a killer pace to boot. I'd secretly love to run into my most recent ex there so he could see what he gave up. The dude was definitely a "wolf in sheep's…
  • I usually order steak or chicken fajitas and put the grilled meat and veggies on top of the plate of side items (lettuce, salsa, guacamole etc) to make a sort-of salad. It's my go-to meal at most Mexican restaurants.
  • My first half-marathon is scheduled for September 7th, and I plan to participate as long as my knee can handle it (I'm currently in PT to work on runner's knee). I'd like to lose a good amount of my remaining extra 35lbs, as I know the weight loss will make it easier for my joints to bear the load of running. Also, my…
  • Oh my god. That is awesome!!
  • Oh yes. I work in a building which houses several sub-divided departments within the larger office. If someone brings in donuts/cookies/etc. for our department and they don't get eaten within a few hours, they'll eventually get moved to the break room to share with the rest of the building. I've worked here for a year and…
  • I also struggled with shin splints while doing the program. Mine were mainly caused from trying to do too much too quickly so I had to cut back on the amount I was running (at the time I thought it would be OK to do my C25K segment and, say, an additional half-mile of solid running). Obviously I don't recommend this. It…
  • 5'5" 181 lbs 14"
  • I think this all the time. I had an ex that would tell me "you're so tiny!" (I'm 5'5" so I'm actually pretty average) but it felt so good and I miss it. I want to be seen as the small, feisty girl ;)
  • My body was stubborn when I first started losing. 24 y/o female, 5'5", started at 228lbs. It took almost 20lbs lost before I noticed my clothes fitting differently. After that it happened much more quickly. It seemed like I went from wearing loose XL tee shirts (just normal cotton unisex/men's shirts, nothing fancy) to…
  • This, exactly. I wouldn't hate him if he'd just been honest with me, but since he wasn't...eat your heart out, indeed! :D
  • My ex broke up with me to "work on himself", is currently enjoying a lot of female attention at his new job and has no problem flaunting this information. I want to get in shape to show him what he gave up. As weird as it sounds, I'd like to lose weight so that my face slims down as well as my body. I have short hair and a…
  • I'm the same height and based on past experience, I've felt my best around 140-145. This was sustainable for me (at least for a few years). I'm probably around 170-175lbs before I'm comfortable in a size 10/12. I'm at 185 and snug in a 13/some 12s now.
  • I recently was dumped by a guy I was head-over-heels in love with. It's been very, very difficult for me because this was the first time I felt this way for anyone and I wanted to have a future with him. I've had chronic low-level depression since I was a teenager (I'm 24 now) but this breakup really dragged me down to a…
  • I'm 24 and I get this. I have a constant pain in my right shoulder that I can't attribute to anything other than my sleeping position.

  • I pretty much live in tee shirts and hoodies year-round. When I started to gain weight I couldn't bear to get rid of my too-small (medium) shirts, so I bagged them up and put them in storage. Over the weekend, I discovered I can wear some of these shirts again  Some of them run smaller than others - I washed them…
  • @TheRedQueen1981 thank you! Believe me, it took me a long time to get to this point. Many failed attempts at splitting up, arguments, crying to myself in my car, fantasizing about the life I really wanted...I should have left a long time ago but the fear of being alone was always a powerful motivator. I don't have any…
  • I am 24 years old. I was in an unhealthy relationship for 3.5 years combined (we split up in August 2016, I moved home, we reconnected in March 2017). During those 7 months apart, I'd begun to work on myself by losing much of the weight I'd gained over the course of our relationship. When we decided to get back together, I…
  • Our town has Chipotle and Qdoba and I love them both. I usually get a salad, no shell, with double steak, half/half beans, half/half rice, shredded cheese, mild and corn salsas, and a squirt of sour cream. Or I'll do a kids salad (same ingredients) and get the side of tortilla soup with chicken. Not overly…
  • Feel free to add me as well. I've noticed the same thing.
  • This. I am always afraid of this. I know it shouldn't matter and it sounds petty, but I cringe as I walk into stores or ride my bike down the street because of this very thing.
