-Dancing - Zumba, BodyJam, latin ballroon, swing....or just free-stylin' it in my living room with the kids -Eliptical - I used to LOVE riding my bike all over when I was younger. Not only was it a way to get around without asking my parents to take me somewhere, but I loved the wind in my face, the freedom. One day I hope…

Ken's Light Options Sweet Vidalia Onion is a good one! And we love Kraft dressings in our house; they are often buy 1 get 1 free and we have tried a bunch. The ones that go quick in our house are: Green Goddess, Catalina Tangy Bacon, Italian Roasted Red Pepper with Parmesan, Italian Zesty, Ranch Peppercorn, Italian Tuscan…

I wouldn't call them childish. The site is meant for supporting one another. If a complete stranger decides to add you to their FL for more support and then discovers you are not compatible with their personality and/or goals and they decide to remove you, it's not childish unless they ran a smear campaign against you…

Hmm..will check it out.

Me too, just added. Along with Bollywood workout! Heck yeah!! I already had a Bollywood station in there but I did not realize they had one with just the dance-y ones for workin' it!
-
I listen to Pandora through my phone as well, usually the Latin Workout station, but sometimes an Electronica-Pop station, or Dubstep, or 80's dance music. Mainly Latin though.

INXS- One of my kind And all I can see in my head is that hot aussie dude dancing on the bar in Coyote Ugly.....

It sounds like you have already said everything you could on the subject. It he persists, or starts saying stuff like that again tell him you don't like repeating yourself and maybe he should take notes next time? (In the sweetest voice possible of course)

I always office desk chair dance at work, but haven't thought of any cool names for the moves. They are similar to car-driving dancing moves though, except I can include my feet. Three cheers for office desk chair dancing!:drinker:

I have come across that with my name, it has a CH right in the middle of it.

Measuring ingredients/following a recipe to make sure your food comes out tasting like it should is not the same. But thanks for stopping by!

That sounds like too much math for me and my brain to handle, lol. I *think* I have a food scale somewhere up in a cabinet I can't reach without a step-ladder, but it is not electronic. I think got it when I had gestational diabetes, but I don't remember using it that much. We cook almost all our meals. Often casseroles,…

I mean, techincally yes, you are already a mother-to-be. But I know when I was pregnant with my 1st and it was Mother's Day, I was not concerned with being told "Happy Mother's Day!" by my husband or anyone else. Possibly because it was also my birthday. Just like it will be this year too.

Great find!

If we are gonna include kids.... My 5 yr old says OOH-jah-ly, for the word usually. I have corrected her for about 3 years now and it still comes out wrong. My 2 yr old sa DUNK instead of DONE. (i.e.: Me: Are done with your dinner? Him: I dunk) Yesterday my 5 yr old was picked to do the Word of the Day on the school's news…

Nope....see all my prior posts. Born in the North to Northern parents, raised in the South, but surrounded by people who are from all over the dang place.
-
Yeah, I also tend to do the dishes, fold laundry, etc after the kids are in bed.
-
Why are you not eating with the kids? Even if it is on the go to a practice, or waiting during practice? My kids are young so we have only have 1 after-school activity right now. I feed them snacks on the way there (crackers, cheesesticks, clemetimes), I usually eat an apple while waiting, and then dinner around 7pm when…

This thread is very entertaining and educational! Thanks OP for giving me something to do at work to pass the time!:drinker:

Texas Hillbilly's say Warsh? I never knew that! My husband's side of the family all hail from Ohio and they say Warsh...even after they have lived in FL for years, longer than they lived in Ohio!
-
My husband is from Texas, but I can't remember how he says it. I'll have to ask him later today, fun dinner conversation!
-
Sort of....my family who lives up there will say Wuss-ta...but I said was born there, not raised there, so I don't say it like it. :)
-
Puh-Cahn? Haven't heard that one yet! And I just asked all the girls at work...and they all said it is Pee-Can for the South and Pee-CAHN (or Pee-CON, if that makes more sense) is for the North. Bahahahaha! See.....it is just too dang confusing!
-
That's how I say it, lol! On a side note: I was born in Worcester, MA and everyone always says War-chester...and that is NOT how you say it. It is more like Wuss-ter, but I know the way it is spelled makes it difficult for people.
-
I live in the south and there is always a debate on whether it is PeCAHN pie or PeCAN pie.....I am sad to admit I have used both b/c I am not sure which one it is supposed to be. My former supervisor's name is Lara. I have worked here for over 6 years and I STILL have to make an effort to say her name correctly. She used…

That one. I just avoid it.

That is awesome, way to go!
