Captain Morgan spiced rum with diet soda. (preferably diet Dr. Pepper). I don't drink soda any other time. One shot of Captain is 86 calories.

Mrs. Dash has lots of different flavors available. I've heard of adding lemon juice to things is a good substitute for salt. Soups are so difficult. Even the low sodium varieties are high in sodium. Any homemade recipes I find still have chicken broth or beef broth as the base. The no sodium versions of these have no taste.

That's fantastic. Just don't buy too many clothes because you'll need even smaller ones in no time!

Kind of evenly all over, so I don't notice getting big, it really crept up on me. Likewise, when losing the weight it wasn't noticeable until I had lost a lot. I'm now down 34lbs and people at work are just now noticing. I've gone down 4 pant sizes and nobody noticed until now.

I'm 5'8.5". Starting weight was 183. Original goal was 160. After reaching that goal, I changed it to 150. I'm currently at 152 and now think I'll shoot for a goal of 147. I still have some jiggle to lose. I've been doing cardio and weight training. I will continue the cardio but probably increase the weight training to…

I've been on 2 cruises and really haven't found the food to be that great. The desserts always look fabulous, but always seem bland. Just keep active and you'll do fine. It is a vacation. Get back on the wagon when you get back. Enjoy!

Watch your sodium intake and your carbs. Too much of both of those make me retain water Drink lots of water and sweat it out.

That is fantastic! I was always kind of in between regular and plus sizes. Regular things in XL didn't always fit but plus sizes were sometimes a little too big. I am now in a regular sized Large and sometimes even a medium. There is such a better selection and so many more places to shop. Sounds like you need to go on a…

Yes, same here. My shoes have gotten loose. I will need a smaller pair soon.

c25K is like MFP. It holds you accountable. I did the full program on a treadmill though and was able to complete each day of the program, but I could not run the entire time when I tried outside. I am now staring over and doing it outside. Hills and wind make things much harder. C25K keeps me working hard enough, but not…

Wow! What a huge difference. I'm at 12 weeks too. Like everybody else said, you look like you've lost more than you have. Keep up the good work! You've found a good combination that really works for you.

I've really started watching my sodium intake. It has helped stop the drastic weight fluctuations. I also weigh myself at the same time every morning because my weight varies at different times of the day. I weigh every day but only log my weight once a week. I try to keep my sodium at half the amount MFP allows me.

You have to really want it. I log everything. I try to cut out all processed foods. I really watch my sodium intake because water retention really makes my weight fluctuate. I exercise at least 30 minutes, at least 6 days a week. Look up how to figure your target heart rate and make sure you hit it while exercising.

Yep, C25K will get you there.

Good question, I often wonder that myself

Face first and then down from there. (neck, clavicle, shoulders, chest, ...................hips and legs will be the last to lose)

Some say you should eat those back, I've heard some say to eat half of those back. I think everyone is different and you will need to experiment with what works for you. I usually don't eat them back and have lost 21lbs in 10 weeks

I don't have planned cheat days, but I do have days I know will be hard to stay within my calories (dinners with friends, bbq's, etc). On those days, I really watch what I eat for my other meals and don't get too upset if I go over for the day. The next day, I just make sure to get right back on track and move on.

I love my Fitbit One. I wear it 24/7. The combo of Fibit and MFP sync well together. As long as you log your food as you go in MFP during the day, Fitbit let's you know exactly where you are and if you need to eat more or less throughout the day. Fitbit is so small, nobody even know I'm wearing it.

I just completed the C25K program today. I've never been a runner. In high school we'd run a mile, but that was 30 years ago!! The first time running 20 minutes is a big accomplishment and a great feeling when you finish. I am waiting for better weather so I can run outside and get off the boring treadmill. I just…
