Protein 40 Carb 40 and Fat 20 works for me... But that is border line bodybuilding. However, it keeps me in shape when I do not work out...... I live by body fat % and not the scale. When I was 205 and 18 percent fat vs a now 9 percent at 205---- Big Difference. FOr most guys you do not get definition until you get below 10 --- This is when it really shows.....

It depends on what the calories are also . Most of my calories are protein ---70 percent.... I want to retain what muscle I do have and lose fat... I have found give or take 300 cals either way works fine for me.

add some resistance training in there. You do not want to become the term called "skinny fat" . Weight training will burn less calories why you doing it, but the effects are longer (cal burning )
