Hello old and new friends, I'm a member of the 'May Challenge" which led to the formation of this group. I'm a happily married 26 year old expat living in the very hot city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I finished May on approx 17 700 calories and I want to match it this month. My goal is to pay more attention to the…

Hello, fellow runners! Congrats for your amazing results this month - 200 miles, wow! I was wondering if someone could tell me how this works. I have a couple of questions: - whom should I be comunicating my June goal to and where do I post my daily/weekly updates: in a thread here or via an excel sheet on google…

Hi Everyone, Reading the replies in the "Turtle Group" I've realised it's been decided not to follow the same structure i.e. set up a monthly goal of BURNED CALORIES and work towards achieving it. Each person has a different type of goal: lose X pounds, run X miles etc. I would honestly prefer having the same parameters…

Hello Ladies, I've just had a look at my goal for May and I'm happy to say I've exceeded it and I still have some serious workouts planned before the 31st :D I'm on 3100 for this week and I still have planned a stairs workout today, a long run tomorrow and the first real NROLFW workout. wtwOn, are those blisters still…

Hello ladies, My friends call med Dell and I certainly hope I'll work on the NROLFW as sharph as a computer. I'm starting today and I'm a bit afraid of the prone jacknives. I've tried this exercise in the gym yesterday and I made a fool of myself. :))

Great idea. I'm in, of course :D I'd just add that while slow and steady is ok, interval workouts are even better ha ha ha

Hi Ashley, In for June!!! And we technically have 1 week and 2 days left :P That will count when adding up and comparing goals to actuals. For week 4 I have planned 3 long runs as I've noticed that did the trick this week. I'll also go to a sprints & stairs workout in preparation for a 12 hours trek I'm going on in June.…

Congratulations, ladies! I'm on 4817 for this week. I managed to surpass my goal of 4817 mainly because I went on three long runs. Keep it up!

Congrats for your daughter, Erin! Goal for the week met: 4126 and I still have a slow 10 kms run tonight. I'm really excited about this and I want to thank everyone for their own efforts: you've kept me motivated to push harder and harder.

I hope you're all enjoying the weekend and not treating yourselves with too many cheat meals :P I'm on 2100 so far and am confident I'll work hard enough to reach 4000 this week. That will probably mean working out for 1h in the morning and another one in the evening but I'm ok with that cause it's for my health :D
