  • I'm a student midwife, I'm yet to try it out properly but I just bought myself a pedometer, that way I can roughly work out the speed I was walking at based on roughly how long I've been moving about (I hardly sit down on a shift!) and how far I've walked. It's still a crude method but at least if I can say "I've walked 4…
  • Everyone's target weight is at least 5lbs lower than mine (the absolute minimum I will go to is 132lbs)... My measurements are 38-26-38 at 145lbs, I'm don't actually want to lose too much of that!
  • That's me, started at 150lbs, 5lbs down, got another 5-15lbs to go (depending on what feels right).
  • Things I like...(Off the top of my head) -A Scanner Darkly -Sin City -Ponyo (or anything else by studio Ghibli) -Pan's Labyrinth -Thirteen -Pulp Fiction -American Beauty -Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas -Flash Gordon -A Clockwork Orange -The Secretary -Donnie Darko -From Hell -District 9 -Watchmen -Before Night Falls -The…
  • I've never actually had back pain. Being a 28GG, my breasts aren't actually THAT large in the grand scheme of things, just large on me! I've always worn a correctly fitting bra as well, whereas others my size are probably in 32 or 34 bands and aren't getting enough support so it's never been an issue for me.
  • *giggling* Don't want to flog a dead horse but THREE lbs?!
  • I was a lifeguard on my gap year and worked on reception at the same place for most of my first year at uni, as I'm still technically on the books as a casual member of staff, I use the facilities (gym, pool, health spa, classes etc.) there and can do so at any of the 5 sites it's linked to for free. I feel a bit cheeky,…
  • Protein I'm ALWAYS over! With sugar, all it takes is for me to be a bit heavy on the fruit and I'm over. I don't pay too much attention really as long as I'm under on my calories and my carbs (because I know carbs are my major downfall). Apparently you can change it in your settings if you want but I wouldn't worry too…
  • Hi Gabrielle, I'm also a uni student, struggling to eat right on the go and on a budget blah blah blah, you know the rest! I started at 5'5 and 152lbs, currently 145lbs, would like to be sub-140lbs but not certain of my goals yet. I think after that, it's mostly toning for me. Minimum I want to get to is 132lbs, under that…
  • ^This. I could lose weight until the cows came home and I'd be curvy until I was dangerously underweight. even in my early-mid teens when I had a BMI between 17 and 19 I was curvy because I'll always deposit fat on my buttocks and breasts. However, i have friends who are in a healthy/higher weight range who have naturally…
  • Yeah, that's a good idea, I'm trying to get in the gym three times per week but I did three night shifts this week, which pretty much knocks four days off and it's ballsed everything up! Please feel free to shout at me if I look like I'm slacking!
  • New here and this is so what I need! I'm in!
  • That's amazing! I'd love to do a Tough Mudder, I'm always using my asthma or my busy shift schedule as excuses for not signing up to any long term fitness goal. I didn't go to the gym yesterday because I didn't have a clean sports bra for goodness sake! I really need to work on motivation! :p
  • Thanks girls, so lovely to get replies! What are your goals? x
