Thanks so much for sharing your story. I'm in a similar place and hope to be able to share my own success one of these days!

At my intermediate goal, success looks like ziplining with my teenage son at New River Gorge this summer. We went with a group three summers ago and I was the only one who had to stay behind on the ground. I never want to experience those emotions again if I can do anything to prevent it.

In the States, jelly and jam are both fruit spreads that one might put on toast in the morning. Jell-O and yogurt sounds pretty good!

On weekdays, I tend toward plain quick oats with added wheat bran (fiber) and wheat germ (protein). Add water, nuke for a couple minutes, add spices and a large glass of water and I'm good for hours. Easy to make at my office too! Weekends, I enjoy scrambled eggs with ham, onions, and kale. And coffee. Always coffee.

Thanks for posting this link. That's the best advice I've seen for addressing my personal binging habits. I will have to save, print, and refer back often.

Flavored sparkling water (Ice Mountain, La Croix, etc.) - just make sure there are no sweeteners! Always good to fill me up when a craving hits and I don't want to waste calories.
