That is great motivation. 2 pounds a week right now is great, but as you get closer to your goals weight, it may be smaller. But you will get there and you will look fabulous is those clothes. I have one pair of jeans that I have used for motivation. It us fun to see how they fit the closer I get to goal.

That is one tough day. You did great under the circumstances. Enjoy your well deserved gaming break. Things will pop up that will take us off our plan. Hiw we respond not only in that moment but the next day and the next day are really what will impact. One moment will be ok. Taking that moment into several days is what…

That is tough Pamela. This is a marathon and not a sprint. You will get there, and patience may be your best friend. I'm getting close to my goal weight and still have clothes I that are tight. Not sure if they ever won't be, but I feel so much better now that I am ok if I have to pass them along. It's great that you have…

You are doing great. Keeping at it, even when we have a not so great day, is what is important. It's one day out of 365. You will get where you want, even it it is in .2 lbs increments.

Lol, To Tame A Fox. In Michigan, we are experiencing what we call "fake spring." So it has been sunny and in the 40s. Saw 46 driving home from my office. And...3 hours later it is 28 and supposed to snow. We like to say it isn't bad weather, it is bad gear. Looks like I'll be able to wear my new coat this season after all.…

Wow, this all looks great. I had 144 grams of Strawberry Okios triple zero, 47 grams of simply granola and a 87 gram apple for breakfast. Work lunch with my team, so about 450 grams chicken and rice soup with 159ish grams hummus with celery and cucumber. And a Clean protein bar for a snack. Not much of an appetite now, so…

Thanks all for your kind words and support. I think this group is pretty awesome and glad to be part of it. First few days of March going fairly well. It helps that we had a few sunny days. Got several great indoor walks in. So hit my step goals 2/3 days. Third day I was over 10k, so super close. Took a short walk outside…

Welcome! Agree with @CaityP27 on a food scale. That was an absolute game changer for me. That's great that you are working with a nutritionist. Hopefully that will help with your current phase as well as providing strong habits for the futre.

Great plan @Elfirose33! And glad to hear boot camp went better than you were expecting. I did Joey Thurman's lean with bands and a 2 mile easy walk yesterday. Today I did the mix and match warm up, 1st mile of Burn to the Beat, and the mix and match flexibility. All from the app. Perfect for what my body felt like it…

That is great!! Slow and steady is the best path for permanent loss. You are doing very well, inspiring!

Sun is out today and that makes me super happy. The forecast makes it look like once we get through this week, the worst of winter will be over. Fingers crossed on that because it will hopefully mean I can start walking outside mid month. Yesterday I did 5 Mega miles. After doing this last week, I am making this an every…

My March goals are very similar to @zichab since i use the Garmin to get me going. So here they are: 30 miles walking (really to see how fast i can get this one.) 20 activities over 20 minutes 300,000 steps Find outside training path for Fife Lake 5k Intentional movement 5 to 6 days a week Yeah, @deeder522 I think the Walk…

Those look delicious! I will look for them. I take a serving of greek yogurt, this time okios vanilla about 140 grams, and mix it with 5 g unsweetened cocoa and 15 g of PB FIT powder. Turns out like chocolate peanut butter soft serve ice cream. About 160 cals and 20 g of protein and extra calcium for the serving I just…

Oh @mucky1217 that is so hard. You need to give yourself a ton of grace as you are going through this. Think about what you'd say to a close friend to support them and then tell yourself that. Hopefully when your husband's gets home that will help and you can share. We are here to support however we can. Hang in there and…

Yesterday did one of the new 5k's, episode 5. Loved the strength part. Costco after work yesterday, which should also count for strength. Lol. Today I did the first mile of Burn to the Beat. That 3 mph pace is perfect for easy movement after a busier day, for me at least.

Today I 1. Did a 2 mile walk 2. Went into my office and saw colleagues 3. Went to Costco, which should count as strength training IMO

Great numbers and way to keep the movement @totameafox!! I don't have a diary but will start one in March. It sounds like dinner was nice and maybe your taste buds or food likes are changing with your new habits? I went to have my "favorite " chips a couple weeks ago and yuck, felt like my mouth was covered in grease. You…

That is great @mucky1217 !! It sounds like you are developing strong habits that will be sustainable. Losing the weight is half the battle and keeping it off the other half. Sounds like you will be in a great place for that!! I know what you mean about hills at the end. Have them all around me and right now covered in ice…

@zichab I paid the price for Saturday. Friends changed date they were coming over to Sunday so I cleaned the entire house Saturday afternoon. Ended up with over 20,000 steps and was sore at the end of the night. Hope your procedures went OK. Yesterday I did the first mile of Burn to the Beat 1.5 times. The slower pace was…

OMG, so so true. 🤣🤣 And the lighting is usually totally different too.

@totameafox I love how welcoming you are to everyone. And how matter of fact about getting it done. Glad I found this group for sure!

Used yesterday as a rest day. Did the 5 Mega Miles and feel like collapsing, but got through it. I totally forgot that it incorporates low impact, intervals and strength. Liked it but super glad today is a quiet day for me. What is it about men feeling the need to comment on our driving? Rich does that too and then hates…
