From Monday to Friday, I eat the same breakfast, snack, lunch etc. everyday. My suppers involve a lot of the same types of things but I alternate chicken, salmon, haddock, pork, and on Friday I always have something really good. I'm less structured on the weekends but again, I tend to eat the same foods. It's just easier…

I've got pants and shorts of all different sizes, from being different sizes myself over the years. This time, as clothes get too big for me, I'm donating them to the salvation army or tossing them out, because I'm not going to fit into them again.

The gym I go to has a room adjacent to it that is seperated by a glass wall. It has games and stuff in it for kids so parents can dump their kids in there and keep an eye on them while they work out. Sometimes kids press their faces up against the glass and make faces. Makes me want to hurl a 30 pound dumbell at them.

Yup, I do, especially during the work week. It just makes it easier for making my lunches at work. I'm glad to hear it might have additional benefits.

This is so inspirational! Thanks for sharing and congratulations!

Once a week, Friday mornings. I like weighing just before the weekend starts so that if something special is going on where I will be eating or drinking, then I have all week to work it off.

Probably not.

What do you actually use to measure with? The only thing I could find for my initial measurments was the huge tape measure I have in the garage, and it was clunky and difficult to work with.

That's awesome man!! Great job!!

Tea with skim milk red delicious apple 1.5 cups 1% milk banana 2 cups Special K Vanilla Almond. I pretty much eat the same thing every day for breakfast and first break at work.

I don't have a number in mind, as I'm trying to look more long term, but I would like to be able to take my shirt off at the beach or pool without feeling totally self-conscious about it.

I'm Hypo as well, but my doctor has the dosage of my meds just about right on where I need to be. I go for bloodwork at least twice a year and she keeps an eye on the levels of my TSH and one other thing that I can't recall the name of right now. All I know is, once you get the meds right you feel SO much better! I'm not…

I just started going to the gym about a month ago, very early in the morning before work. I've never eaten my first meal until 9 or 10 AM in the past, so I was going to the gym at 5:30AM on an empty stomach. Eventually I noticed that I was having less energy, and wasn't riding the eliptical as hard as I should be, and…

2 fillets of baked haddock and a cup of fettucini alfredo with fresh veggies on the side. Which I had to choke down while watching my wife and daughter eat pizza, and they picked off the friggin' pepperoni and threw it out, which almost made me cry. Would it be wrong to dig the pepperoni out of the composter and just lick…

I was just growling about putting my sneakers inside my backpack today!

I try to not eat after supper, which I have around 5:30PM. One of my biggest problems was pigging out on junk food or whatever else I felt like in the evenings, so to get out of that habit I don't eat at all after supper, not even healthy stuff.

I've been flirting with the idea of getting another tattoo for awhile but I want something that has "meaning" and I just wasn't sure what that was. But this thread has given me an idea, and something to look forward to. Thanks!

That's right AlexB, I'm exactly 25 years old. Good guess.

Drink water, tea, brush your teeth. When I have really bad cravings I'll snack on a couple of rice cakes.

Shin splints are the reason I no longer go walking for exercise. They are brutal. I joined a gym and use the eliptical trainer and bike. I avoid the treadmill.

I don't know if it's due to metabolic rates or genetics or just dumb luck, but I know people, and have known them for years, who eat way more than I do, are less active, and haven't gained a pound in years. I work with 2 men, who are brothers, and they have donuts for breakfast, 2 bags of chips EVERYDAY for break, and eat…

The main thing I watch for is calories, fat, and carbs, but I try to keep my sodium below the threshold too. It's not easy, especially as soon as you eat something that's processed. Even friggin' a couple of dill pickles out of the jar are packed with sodium. Most of the time I'm right around my limit but I don't worry…

That's pretty cool. To help give me perspective I always imagine a 1 pound stick of butter.
