No it said calories left and as the day progressed and I went for a walk it increased. So I'm thinking, it gives me the calories of what I can eat if I don't exercise and it increases as I burn calories? I 'll give it a few days to try and figure this out. Thanks, I'll let you know if I figure it out.

I started in January and lost ten pounds which is not impressive for many , but it has taught me I won't die from hunger pangs and I feel more in control of my eating habits.

Hello everyone! I'm back from one week of vacation. Weighed myself this morning, gained 3.8lbs. Should not be too upset it was almost like a ethnic food festival. My first fast day today, please wish m luck!

ADF is alternate day fasting. My TDEE is 1307 cals so you see I have to exercise which I have not been doing . I am very short and 52 yrs, that's why my TDEE is so low. But so far I think this is the Only way that I can keep the 10 lbs off. I hope I can incorporate some exercise into my life.

Hey Guys, people who are doing this for a long time. I read yesterday ADF can only help you lose 11 lbs on average. I have lost around 10 so far starting January. Does that mean that's it I'm done with losing? Sorry this is not relevant to the topic, but didn't want start a new one. Please give me some insight! Thanks!

I have done EOD since January 2015. Its hard to compare with others but I have lost 10lbs since I started. Initially fast then after 2 months almost a crawl. I have age, height against me. So I'm happy. I am not a scientist so I can not tell which is better

Closer to chickpeas then lentils. If you use canned chickpeas you don't have to boil/cook for hours. Just sauté with pam and the masala.

Do you eat channa? If you do after it is boiled and tender to eat cook it in pam(cooking spay) and use all the spices you would normally use minus the oil. High in protein and fills you up.

jknight, I do try to cook in non fast days but somehow still have to cook on fast days I have to plan better and turnercherrie, my husband is old school and would not like to heat up food, even if I don't cook on a fast day I don't see him fixing his own plate.
