Ok.........I recently found an article that describes Adult ADD symptoms and how people quickly pass them off. I am 29 and myself and my family have always joked about my having ADD but I have never been tested. As a matter of fact, I don't know how to begin, the only doctor I really see is my orthopedic surgeon and after…

Happy early Birthday!! What a fantastic motivator.

Thanks everyone for your input!! I will be eating something for breakfast from now on to balance out my calories as well as trying to really take into consideration my salt intake! For tonight, I am breaking down and found a recipe for low sodium mac and cheese, and am going to alleviate my caloric deficiency with some…

Congrats on your weight loss!! What an accomplishment! Maybe you can provide some insight onto the calorie defecit.....do you recommend eating back your calories that have been spent through exercise?
-
I don't eat past 7 because it keeps me up at night. It has been 5 years of working on a healthy sleep pattern and this is one habbit that I stick too.
-
I doubt it since I literally just started exercising and watching my diet two weeks ago.
-
I just looked my Sodium, I averaged all 7 days and was at 3126 mg/day........so clearly over 2400 mg. Today I am at 1541 mg.

Make it Miller and I'm there

Much appologies, I opened it up.

Is it necessary for me to really get up that high on calories? I am concerned because last week I was under on all of my calories and ended up with a weight gain for the weeks weight in.
-
Sorry for the closed profile, I have since opened it up!! Thanks for all of the comments!

Totally in!! I love this idea. Starting Weight: 173.9 Goal Weight (for the time frame anyway): 169.5 I am hoping to keep my meals and daily reports more even when it comes to nutrients as well as keep with my C25K and 30DDS! Not to mention the problem of the wasted calories (I am not very willing to get rid of my beer)!…

I hope my previous post explains my position and how it assumed your comment to be true without stating it.

I understand your point. Our bodies burn calories just to maintain. I disagree with you completely on this response to this question. Our daily caloric burn rate is already figured into each individuals daily caloric intake! The only reason to add cardio and exercise is if it is on top of what we have described our…

This is my first one I am soooooo excited! Starting Weight: 173.9 Goal Weight (for this two week challenge): 169.5 Problems: My main problem in these two weeks is going to be a balance diet. I do quite well through the week however, on the weekends I just can't seem to stay away from the empty calories that my beer gives…

How are your measurments? I am also in the same boat, I gained this week and only weigh on mondays but also measured myself and have lost anywhere from .5 inch to 1 inch in two weeks. As I have been told and come to accept, its not the number, but the fitness and a scale doesn't necessarity determine fitness progress,…

I have been doing 10,000 steps a day for about a year now. For me, 10,000 steps is not for weight loss necessarily because it doesn't get your heart rate to a calorie burning rate, it is merely beneficial for overall health. I wear a pedometer and make sure that before I go to bed I have 10,000 steps on it every day. I…

I have been on and off Depo for 8 years now, my advice...STAY AWAY! First off the weight gain, to combat what some others have said, no matter how much you exercise and how well you stick to a diet plan you will still gain weight. The idea of depo like other bc's is to trick your body into thinking it is pregnant, thus it…

Tomorrow is a new day! I agree with previous posts, break your problem down to the most immediate and severe. Then work your way up the checklist. First is employment. To accomplish that you need a respectable outfit, try an outreach center etc, or an employment agency or government agency for employment sometimes have…

I am of the same height and weight as you, basically the same goals. I am set at 1200 and find it manageable because I make sure and eat at lot of protein, fish, chicket, etc. as well as fresh lettuce/greens with olive oil to get my fats in. As well, special K meal replacement bars have done great for me. If you want to…

I concur!! I am single (just left an engagement :) and am also turning 30 this year, I am tired of the yo-yo and am committed to changing my lifestyle for the better, i.e. I quit smoking, reduced my drinking (I'm still sad about that one), and am starting to run. I welcome everyone to friend me, you can never have enough…
