So very proud of you!! That's a lot of self discipline and determination!

I'm sorry to hear that. But will say a prayer and send a hug girlie.

In my family we actually have family members with low blood pressure. So the recommendation is more sodium. It causes water retention which helps keep the blood pressure up. Still, a good cardio burn would get rid of sodium and water.

This is a very interesting question, one that I've not thought about. I do try to watch my sodium and cringe sometimes when I get home and see what the actual count was. I do think sodium can be helpful for those serious cardio workouts where you sweat a lot. Anyway, I googled this article. Maybe it will help.…

I think it's a good combination of self discipline and some weight loss buddies. Most people who are losing weight have been around the block before, depending on your age. You pick up good ideas and tips along the way and it's always good to share the wealth. I'm a social person by nature. I can definitely do it by…

I don't eat back calories unless I had a special event happening, like a birthday, anniversary, some type of celebration. I usually use the cals on a Saturday night if we go to a movie or go out to eat. But I also eat light all day so I'll have extra calories too. I always think, "do I want to lose more weight now or…

I'm happy to help keep you motivated. It's never too late. It's just a pain in the butt. All I know, is I'm more miserable overweight. So yes, I'll get it done with you.

I think denial of these treats only makes us want them even more. Plus it leads to an over indulgent binge. My answer for myself, has been to find these treats in lower calorie items. For example, when I want chocolate, I eat a Hershey kiss. It's around 11 calories for one. I also check out Weight Watcher desserts too.…

Hiker I completely understand. If I could just control my sugar addiction I have. Usually if I can make it a week without eating it, I can break it. Hey let your scale movement be your motivation. Reward yourself with goals met. This may sound crazy, but I got this great idea off Pinterest.. I've got this glass jar that…

Some of my friends have been using the elliptical. At first, they could only do about 5 minutes as well. Now they are up to 30 minutes and 45 minutes. Keep at it. Go as long as you can and it will gradually get better. Great workout!

Trust me, I want someone that will say, "what were you thinking when you ate that"? !!!!!!

I agree 100 percent! But I stay motivated on the journey having a few cheerleaders by my side. I also get great motivation from seeing others succeed as well. Thanks for your advice!
