See this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 It might explain a couple of things. Good luck

When you do a high intensity workout that you're not used to, your body takes strain. You often get sore 2-3days after an intense workout, it has something to do with muscles. Sometimes you just need a couple of days rest, but you will recover! It pain often feels worse in the 2nd or 3rd day after a workout, but it's good,…

Don't be afraid to exercise in the home. It was raining today and I ran up and down the stairs until my legs couldn't move anymore, did push-ups and squats. It was only about 15mins, but that is 15mins more than not doing anything at all! Make your home your gym, there are millions of ways to do it, that's just what I did…

Very well researched. Thank you.

Hey all you beautiful people. My name is Jess, I currently live in Pretoria, but Ballito (just north of Durban) is my hometown. I'm 23 and have 25kgs to lose. I'm loving MFP and I hope that some of you will friend me so that we can support each other. I'm absolutely addicted to MFP so I'm always commenting and encouraging…

Pole dancing is a great workout! You can lose anywhere between 250-600kcal in an hour. Plus is makes you feel awesome about yourself. If there's a class near you I would recommend going. I lost about 10kgs (roughly 22lbs) in about 9 months with no dieting, watching calories or anything. I ate normally - which is pretty bad…

Wow, you did great! Can't believe how good you look after only 2 months! Congrats, that's an awesome achievement! Thanks for sharing :)

I don't think it's stupid because it's a motivating factor. Whoever has different motives for starting their weightloss journey isn't dumb. It's a good thing because after you start losing the weight it does become less about your original motive and more about yourself. Whatever starts you off is great! PS. I have done…

Just remember that muscle is heavier than fat. So you might be losing fat but building muscle which will make the scale stagnate. You should probably start relying on your measurements rather than your weight.

I'm down about 2 or 3kgs since Jan 1st. Not sure about my measurements yet because I didn't do any then. Hoping to lose 5kgs by end of Jan. Well done to you btw! :-)

You shouldn't really be cutting anything out of your diet because your body needs nutrients that you get from all food groups. However you should be cutting out refined sugars and bad fats - your body still needs healthy sugars and healthy fats. If you really like junk food, eat it once in a while because if you cut it out…

Congrats! You look amazing! Truly an inspiration ;) Wow

Make sure you take a Vit C supplement. Apparently you have a 131% chance of loosing more weight. I read that in a fitness mag (although you can't always believe what you read -- Vit C is still good for you)

Congrats! You look fab! Such an inspiration! Thanks for sharing ;)

Well, I would usually tell someone to suck it up and eat them, but you sound really serious. You should try putting veggies in mince and casseroles and currys. If you included them in things like pastas and casseroles, those things mask the taste and sometimes even the texture of the veggies. If you don't like them by…

Your little girl sounds like a cutie. It's great to have some motivational support. I believe that your life change is an inspiration :) Keep it up!

Very enlightening. Well done for being so motivated and sticking to it! I'm glad you seem happier for the experience. Good luck for the future!
