  • You can get microwaveable omelette makers from Amazon and use egg whites (or whole eggs if you prefer and are looking to add weight) and throw in some protein. Microwave it for a couple minutes and eat it with some protein shake/fresh fruits and you should be good to go.

  • As John indicates, "muscle confusion" is definitely a marketing term (I think Beach Body/Tony Horton made it up for P90X). It's just making sure you change up the routine to maximize your gain. It's a concept that's been around for forever, they just put a catchy name to it.

  • I would see if you can do some stationary bike in the meantime to build up your lower body muscles, improve your cardio and keep up your overall fitness while your body/foot adjusts to the recent weight loss. The bike should allow you to get exercise in without having to make contact with the pedal with your heels.
