  • when I breast fed my two children I was told never to diet whilst breast feeding as it can affect the quality of your milk, just make sure you have a healthy well balanced diet, if anything eat a bit more, still healthy options though whilst breast feeding and once finished then diet. that was a few years ago now though so…
  • Thank you everyone, I am happy with how I look compared to how I used to look. I have got too hung up on calories I consume and the number on the scales too. You are all right, as long as I am happy and am healthier then I used to be then the scales do not matter. I shall increase my calorie intake, done the whole bmr/tdee…
  • i hardly drink any water, only time i do is when i am at the gym, then it's about a litre, really need to start drinking water, but in saying that i hardly have any drinks in a day, 3 cups of tea, one glass of pepsi max, that's it. will have to kick myself up the backside to start drinking water, as of tomorrow!
  • i used to work in the europe head office in the finance department, took the shakes and herbal supplements while i worked there as they were free to use in the kitchens, i did loose weight and once finished did manage to maintain eating food, only put weight on after having my son (10lbs 5oz) baby but now thanks to mfp…
  • excellent thanks hope to be changing that in a couple of weeks  x
  • thank you  any idea what i should do via mfp to help me maintain?
  • i have put lightly active as i am on my feet, walking or crawling about on the floor alot in my job so thought i wouldn't log my work exercise. i just upped my cals to 1300 as so many said 1200 was too low left everything else as it was, plan to up cals a bit more too when i want to maintain, think that's what you do???
  • that's what i thought, i have put my job as lightly active so thought i should'nt log my work exercise, thank you for the comments too, can't believe i have only 2lb to loose xx
  • oh i see even if i have manually changed my goals/cals myself.......thank you, didn't realise that, doh!
  • should i eat back my exercise calories if i change to 1787? i feel a bit scared to up my cals too, keep saying in my mind i'll up them next week, but today is as good as any right? worried i'll pile too much weight back on!
  • WOW, that is amazing advice and so clear cut, thank you so much. I shall start to slowly increase my calories until I reach my TDEE, would you recommend weekly to increase cals or every two weeks or monthly??? thank you again for such superb advice.
  • I would if I could but my gym only opens art 6.30am and I start work at 7.30am. Have found going in the evening better then I thought, but I would prefer to go first thing in the morning. I'm sure it doesn't matter when you exercise as long as you do, right?

  • thanks for the advice know i should stop weighing myself daily will have to be firm with that, didn't know about the water weight thing either, will give it a go thank you x
