  • you sound like me. I am dreading the stairs in my near future- we will be spending thanksgiving with dear friends in Paris, they live on the 3rd floor (4th floor if in the US) and it is a walk-up and not 13 stairs per level- nope 22 stair per level so that means every time we leave or return to their place it is 66 stairs…

Challenge Starting Weight: we will call it "0" Challenge Level: ***** Challenge Goal Weight: "-25" I am counting yesterday, May 12, as my day one as I weighed myself then. May 19: -2lbs May 26: June…
  • If you eat even close to regular meals the difficulty is staying under goal not getting to goal. Can you give an example of what you are eating? maybe add in some healthy fats and protein - for example a hand full of nuts has a couple of hundred calories

  • honestly pay for alterations but if you really just want to lose the weight I would follow a vegan whole foods diet (so lots and lots and lots of vegetables, fruit, some but not a lot of nuts) and also well fitting shape wear
  • LOVE LOVE LOVE all of these

  • I am breastfeeding my nearly 8 month old daughter though, obviously, not EBF as she eats (some) solids now and I also pump/express milk while at work so there are definitely bottles involved. I reached my pre-pregnancy weight about 3 weeks after she was born though I think a lot of that was due to stress (she was in NICU…
  • oops not what I meant to do! I knew that you burn calories producing breastmilk but I had never heard the per ounce number- As I struggle to produce enough (I pump when at work 3-5 times a day plus we nurse plus take every galactologue I can but still we need to supplement) I wish that calorie burn was a little higher but…

  • First see a physical therapist. Discuss with them what exercises are appropriate for you and, if appropriate for you, I highly recommend beginning water based workouts (water jogging/ aerobics/ aquazumba) I have three herniated discs and spinal stenosis and water based workouts have been my lifesaver- allowing me to move…

  • this. If you can sit you can squat practice by sitting back onto a chair and then standing right back up, repeat.
  • I think it is ok to do the cardio back to back - doesn't she say somewhere that you can add the cardio anytime? What I wouldn't do is do the cardio everyday for the simple reason that you need to prevent overuse injuries (amongst other reasons I can think of...)
  • This might sound weird but have you considered making crepes or other large, thin pancakes? - make in advance and then keep in the freezer and heat up lightly in a pan for 30 seconds (or nuke in microwave but less desirable) and fill as you would a sandwich- roll -up - I am sure you can make with any kind of grain, and as…
  • Funny! Great post and great work! Enjoy your trip abroad !
  • also, when you work out your muscles, you retain water afterwards as the muscles repair themselves basically (from what I have been told over and over and over again when I get discouraged) When you begin any new weightlifting program your body will retain water in the beginning. This is because your body’s muscles will…
  • mmm donut pizza ! Actually though I have taken scraps of extra pizza touch and baked with some cinnamon and sugar- yummy
  • just one more tip - remember to lay your already rolled-out dough onto the pan (and not roll it on the pan, because then you would be pressing the dough into the holes)- I mention this because I am guessing that you are fairly new to pizza making, please disregard if I am mistaken enjoy your pizza! :-)

  • sorry is it not "stickler" instead of sticker? or was that for humor's sake?
  • FITBIT WAY WAY WAY WAY SERIOUSLY OVERESTIMATES my calorie burn so perhaps it overestimates yours as well. I have 2 different heart rate monitor watches- one which used to say I burned a lot of calories and the other said I burned little. Once the first had been recalibrated with my current weight and my "ownzone" test (a…
