  • Yeah, you're probably right... Although last Sunday, we went out for pizza AND I made cookies (and ate a bunch of them), and only ended up with 3,700 calories. Maybe I should've eaten more cookies? Good thing I froze a bunch of them....
  • I've done two rounds of Insanity and one round of The Asylum, and I don't think you need the break at all. I actually thought that The Asylum was a lot easier than than the second half of Insanity... maybe because the workouts are so different and almost all of them are only about 45 minutes... Just my two cents... Great…
  • Here are my favorite Pandora stations for my workouts... Pop and Hip Hop Power Workout Radio Remix Radio House Radio Club/Dance Radio Today's Hits Radio
  • I love my FT7 and have had no problems with it!
  • I started out on an elliptical. I did the built-in programs until i got down to a weight where I felt comfortable pushing myself. 30 Minutes programs... If you have a lot to lose, DIET is the key. Change your diet, and ease into exercise slowly. You don't want to get hurt and/or discouraged.
  • Usually nutrition facts for restaurants are based on the entire meal, as ordered, unless specified... I have actually heard that they have a lot of healthy options there, but we don;t have one, so I've never tried it.... Good luck :)
  • I'm still in it... Just haven't posted in awhile. I keep checkin' in though to see who's been posting... On week 7.. I will definitely post my results once I am finished with the round!
  • When I'm trying to watch what I eat and go to my favorite mexican restaurant, I usually go with fish or shrimp. My favorite mexican restaurant has a few different fish/shrimp/rice dishes that are delicious. It's probably still cooked on the mixed grill with everything else, but it has to be better for you than most of the…
  • Try setting your calorie goal to maintain your weight - - - lose 0 pounds per week - - - and eat ALL those calories for a week or two. You'll maintain your weight for those two weeks. . .. maybe gain a pound or two - - - But it could reset your body and snap you out of starvation mode, if that's what you're in.
  • Great job... keep up the awesome work! Your results mirror what my wife and I saw during our first round of Insanity! Not much weight loss, but I lost a lot in inches and could definitely tell I was getting stronger and more fit. It was a change I could see and feel, and I feel like I'm getting it back this round!! Try not…
  • This workout BORED me to death last night... and I only burned 120 calories! Oh well, I guess it's a nice change of pace! Maybe I shouldn;t take it for granted! How is everyone else hangin' in there?
  • Posted this in the Fit Test thread, but I'll "stick" this one and post here too... Did WAY better, and am getting it back quickly! • I started taking some Whey/Whey Isolate after my first round of Insanity, when I started doing some lifting. I started doing the Insanity Upper Body Weight Training, and then started in with some P90X, but I didn;t do the whole program through. It was actually way too boring after doing Insanity. Anyway, I did notice that…
  • OK, y'all... Just did my Day 15 Fit Test... Definitely gettin' it back! • Cardio Abs yesterday... and my obliques hurt. Luckily it's REST DAY! I too strugle with Ski Abs and In/Out Abs... those are brutal. I have to stop after about four or five reps each time. Fit Test tomorrow! I can already tell I'm going to improve!!! Keep pushin', everyone and remember... Don't get your legs too wide...…
  • Plyo tonight... ugh!
  • Cardio Recovery defitely provided a much needed break for my sore legs, and I think Pure Cardio is my FAVORITE workout of Phase 1! I love how it goes straight through with no repeating moves and no breaks! Before you know it, your stretching again! I finally got my HRM, and was surprised to see that I burned nearly 600…
  • Moving push-ups were awful last night. By the third circuit, I was literally just trying to do regular push-ups, and failing! And then I had to get up and do the reps of 8 squats/8 push-ups... I did what I could! Great job to everyone that's sticking with the program!
  • Yes, definitely tough on the knees! I actually felt a pain on the top of my right knee during my Power Jumps, something I didn;t experience last round. I was definitely favoring it during the rest of the minute. My wofe was counting for me, and she said that I was planting my feet too hard when I was landing... not giving…

  • Good luck, everyone! I'll be posting my fit test results tonight after I do it!
  • OK, I did it... I stepped on the scale today... 195. Up from an all-time low of 177 about three months or so ago. Tomorrow it begins! Back to strict logging and working out 5-6 days per week! I'll weigh in and do measurements tomorrow before my fit test as well... Thank you to EVERYONE in this group! Let's do this…
  • I love doing this work out. I always feel like I'm going to die when this workout is over with... but it's an awesome feeling!
  • I've heard of a lot people doing Insanity in the 5 fingers... May have to try those out some time. I tried a few workouts in my last round barefoot, but stopped each time and put my shoes on...
  • Don;t stress too much about the Day 1 fit test... remember, you'll only get better! You can do it!
  • I'm planning on following the schedule starting with the fit test on the 26th, Plyo on the 27th... having my rest days on Sunday! I'm getting pretty jacked to get back into it...
  • Awesome burn! I'm seriously considering a HRM so I can see how much I'm burning when I do the workouts!
  • Click 'Community' on the top menu... it'll take you to the Message Boards page. Right above the listing of the different message boards, there's a horixzontal menu... click on settings. Hope that makes sense...
  • There's really no good way to accurately add these workouts into your journal unless you use a HRM while you do them. My wife has a Polar FT4 that she uses when she does Insanity, and it gives her an accurate count of calories burned that she can enter into her diary post-workout. Otherwise, you'll just have to resort to a…
