I was having heavy bleeding following the loss of a triplet, I had an open cervix and 2 active SCHs and bedrest was needed to try to avoid losing the other two babies. It is quite necessary :) For anyone else in my situation I found a great book on weight gain and dietary guidelines:…

You can totally do this. Self-realization is the first step towards change, and it's clear that you are making progress in this department. You have an eloquent writing style, you should consider writing a MFP blog. The link is under My Home> My Blog on the web interface.

First of all, please try not to take the negativity of other people to heart. You have enough negativity to battle on your own. You are a person and just as valuable as everyone else in the world, regardless of your weight. Don't try to focus on how far you have to go. Make an attainable goal, like getting to 400 lbs.…

10 weeks +9lb I also quit smoking, dieting, caffeine and diet supplements (thermogenics) so this is mostly rebound weight from making those adjustments. Hopefully I can keep my gain minimal for a few weeks and level this out.

This makes no sense. Girls who pay attention to qualities in other women that would make then good girlfriends are most likely not completely straight. Pretty much all women have at least fantasized about other women, and the majority have kissed (or more) another lady.

I'm pregnant and currently eating to maintenance. I'll bump it up in the last trimester. The pregnancy group on this forum 'Fit Fabulous and Pregnant' can probably answer some weight gain questions for you. Congratulations.

Personally I use whey protein. I can't recommend any specific brand as I go back and forth. There isn't a 'holy grail' of protein powder, I just believe from what I have read that soy is not the best one to use. I'm hesitant to recommend any links to research as information posted on the internet can be questionable.…

So true, When people ask how I lose weight I tell them 'I eat less food.' They lose interest pretty quickly when they realize I'm not going to tell them about some magic pill or diet.

It's not new. I remember seeing it in eating disorder literature in the mid-90's. It wasn't spawned by any new technological advacements. It's just another aspect of disordered eating.

the amount of genetic modification done on soy protein is terrifying, and because of its estrogenic properties it is unsuitable for most people, especially males (those who wish to avoid developing female secondary sexual charactersitics at least) and anyone with liver/kidney/female sexual health issues. I won't post and…

Low carb is not a terrible way to lose weight, it is quite effective for many people. I would even say that most of the people on here who have played with their macros have seen their weight loss go up when they lowered carbs and upped fat and protein. However, you probably need more carbs than you are currently eating. I…

Buy a used mini fridge and keep it in your bedroom. I have one with a tiny freezer on it, it wasn't too expensive either.

I definitely still drink, I just calculate it into my calories before I have it. I like vidka and soda or sugar free pop/juice. Remember that it can be tough to say no to bad food when you've had a few drinks, and if that is an issue for you then you may want to cut out drinking.

I put brie on mine, I had some tonight actually! 1/2 ounce of brie is 50 cals and will get lovely and melty on hot foods. I cut the 'crust' off of it.

I'm in.

I'd just stir a bunch of salsa into it, let it sit in the fridge for a few hours, and make taco lettuce wraps.

Oh, and chicken wings. You can't go wrong with wings, and if you want them hot, Frank's red hot sauce is paleo/whole 30 friendly.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great!

Deviled eggs. Coleslaw. Fruit/veggie platter with mayo ranch and coconut cream dipping sauce. Paleo eggnogg. Sweet potato salad. Meatballs. Cabbage rolls without rice. Beanless chili. Smoked salmon with mayo and capers/chives on cucumber slices. I've made most of those things. For recipes just google 'paleo' and the recipe…

If it would make you happy and you can swing it financially, go for it. I know several women in real life and online who have had implants, and all of them are thrilled with the results.
