Agreed. Draconian weight loss plans aren't sustainable, at least for me.

Snow Day (beer)

I have the same issue. As soon as I hit anything above a brisk walk my HR hangs out around 187-195, and I'm not going that fast. I ran 4-5 days/week during the summer, and at no point did this change--you'd think I'd get better and the rate would lower, but no.

Ever After. The Wedding Date? Princess Bride.

My goal is 3-5 by xmas (which will put me at or 2below my goal weight, but since I'm so close it's WAY harder), to work out 4-5x a week between now and then, and to be under my calories at least 5 days/week. Lol.

A beer, McDonalds and Excederin for breakfast, followed by a nap.

I think the fact that you're asking the question means you might be uncomfortable in that particular dress if noone else is dressed up. Maybe something a little more toned down--sweaterdress? Nice skirt/boots/sweater or blouse? A slightly more causal dress? I mean you look great, but you want to be comfortable in whatever…

Lol just steer clear of the dreaded 'jeggings' <shudder>

Babies taste of chicken! Cannibals say that human flesh tastes of chicken, so babies must taste of chicken. And chicken tastes of humans. Good, I'm glad you're coming with me on that.

Beautiful eyes!

I love wine and cheese! lol (take a look at my diary tonite for confirmation). Feel free to add me :)

Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Why bother?

I drink 8+ cans a day and have lost 30 lbs (well, lost 32, gained 4 back, so average of 30. lol). So it's probably not the soda. But if it's the caffine you need, try alternating with tea or another caffinated beverage. If it's the bubbles, try alternating with seltzer water. Little by little, up the amount of tea or…

Spanx. And if you can manage it, skip dinner the night before in favor of a glass or two of red wine. I know I'll get yelled at on here for this, but the alcohol will get rid of the water weight. Just don't drink any water the next day or it will come back. Think of it as temporarily being a (nonwrinkly) raisin rather than…

Nothing will bother him more than you acting like you don't care (except, of course, you making friends with her). Be nice/civil and go about your day like you have no idea who she even is. Because, honestly, who cares who she is? She's the one picking up your leftovers. Keep doing what you are doing and don't let it get…

A calorie is a calorie. If you've found something that works for you that keeps you within your goals, good for you. The best diet is always the one you will stick to. At the end of the day you are probably better off eating more fruits and veggies, but from a weight loss perspective (only), as long as whatever you are…

I did the same thing. I'm looking for the motivation to start logging (accurately), exercising, etc, again.

1. The store didn't take the kid away, that is the State's decision, not the store's. 2. The parents stole. They only offered to pay for it once they got caught. The store correctly decided to enforce the no-shoplifting policy. If you tried on a diamond necklace and 'forgot' to take it off when you left the store, would…

I have a Timex Personal Trainer and it does the same thing. Or I'll be running and gasping for air and it'll register my heart rate at like 66. Or drop from 190 to 100 and back up to 180 in like 3 seconds. It's weird. I want to rely on it but don't really trust it, lol.

Check for diabetes.

I can relate but I can't provide an answer :(. Hopefully someone else can. Good go know I'm not the only one though!

Listen to your body. If you're hungry, eat, especially if you have the calories left over to do it. This site builds in the deficit you need, no need to go for more! (and probably unhealthy if you do for too long!)

Laugh it off. Who cares? One thoughtless sentence doesn't need to ruin a friendship, and maybe she was trying to help. Next time plan better :)

I'd slowly (100-200 week) increase your cals to get to your maintenance level--this site sets generic levels but they are not exact---that way you can get to maintenance without overshooting. And def continue to do the cardio/whatever else you are doing. Cardio/exercise burns the fat and eating back the calories fuels the…

You guys are all saying the same thing. There's no magic number to being healthier, or living longer (I mean 15%? 15% of what? That's a useless number). This site already gives you a reduction in calories, in order to maintain a weight loss it takes what your body normally burns just keeping you alive each day and reduces…

If you want to go with him you'll have to slow down to his pace b/c he isn't physically capable of speeding up to yours.

Of course, lol. Ratings are the point of a tv show (unless you're PBS).
