  • I’m 35 but want to lose 20 to 30 lbs. I would love an accountability partner as I forget to log often.
  • I'm a cereal junkie. Once had a bowl of cereal that was around 700 calories. Quaker Oats granola cluster cereal. NEVER AGAIN!
  • Chicken, turkey bacon, turkey sausage, quinoa, Greek yogurt...protein is in a lot of things. Try Protowhey protein powder. It's sooooo delicious and has the least amount of sugar I have found and tastes so good. Like a vanilla malt!
  • I dropped a dress size by losing 2 lbs. I'm pretty short and I'm moderately active on a daily basis so 2 lbs was a lot.
  • Been working out and dieting myself. I havnt lost a single pound! In fact I went up two pounds. BUT....I've been measuring my belly and my waist is getting smaller and I feel better. I also have been measuring my body fat percentage and that has been going down. Don't live by the scale. There are plenty of ways to view…
  • Your mindset is unhealthy. We should all diet and exercise because it makes us feel good not because we want to look like someone. Once you exercise and eat right for your health, guess what, the pounds come off! If thinspo makes you feel bad... Don't look at it. Be happy you have an able and healthy body.
  • Disney land has terrible fattening food and super expensive. I would suggest that you bring some snack options and maybe treat yourself to one junk item with the kids. You will also be walking a lot so don't forget to track your steps! Have fun and set a healthy realistic example for your kiddos!
  • Sweating before the wedding! I am trying to lose 15lbs before the wedding. I'm in decent shape so these 15lbs are HARD to let go! I need to cut out the wine and go hard on my nutrition.
  • Hi! I'm in Tae Kwon Do! Its the only exercise I can stick with! And the fact that you burn 500 cals or more just is the icing. I'm a purple belt currently. Its the best workout ever. I also do cardio kickboxing now too.
  • Ah ha! So that's how it works.
  • That IS a lot! To maintain your weight, you usually eat around 1500 cals (or so I've been told). Reset your goals and see if it has changed!
  • One question: is your fiance overweight? My best friend is and she is not a supporter of me losing weight. Sometimes it makes your friends (or your partner) feel insecure with themselves too. Just ask him to be more supportive or to have a little less junk around the house. He sounds sweet, so he probably will comply.…
  • AVOCADO!!!! Its the good kind of fat for you, plus loaded with vitamins that improve your hair, skin, and nails. Super beauty food!
  • Thats a great idea! ;)
  • I'm right there with you! I always try to keep a snack on hand so I don't binge. Also, plan what you are going to eat the night before and track it in your food diary, that way, you know what to expect. For the sweet tooth thing, keep York Peppermint patties around. It will satisfy you and not dampen your day! Good luck!
  • Well, I should probably say that it was the HIGH fat content and poor choices of food that really had me shocked. Lots of junk, you know. Also, I should probably say that I'm looking to lose about 20lbs. Its not a HUGE weight loss goal. I just want to be healthy and get rid of the chubby face and love handles!
  • I have to say that My Fitness Pal really opened my eyes lately. I am trying to get back to my pre-college weight. I have been recording EVERYTHING I put in my mouth (yes, even those tiny bites off my sisters plate) and boy does it add up! I was suprised to find that I was consuming about 1,500 calories a day with little to…
  • Hi everyone. Well, I'm excited to finally start the process of losing the extra pounds put on by bad nutrion, alcohol, and lack of sleep that I aquired in college. I started college weighing in at 105-110 now I'm about 140. Wish me luck. I hope I can keep myself motivated and stick it out!
