This. I stick with spring mix and other dark greens like spinach. If would be interesting to see a chart of salad greens and the nutritional differences to make a comparison.

My job is not sitting on my butt at a desk. Under that circumstance I wouldn't even of asked the question. I did adjust my activity level to account for it. Thank you for your help.

I have a bad left new (dislocated kneecap and then surgery). My trainer went over squats with me yesterday. I was afraid just like you. Squats should not hurt your knees. If if does, you aren't doing them correctly. My knee did not hurt. Now my thighs, that is another story! LOL

I just had this discussion with my Doctor earlier this afternoon. MFP has my sugar set at 30. I am way over each day. She said as long as my sugar is coming from natural sources like fruit and veggies, she isn't so concerned.

I go for steamed foods. Like steamed veggies and chicken. This is what I get at PF Chang's it is called Budhas Delight (but I have them add chicken to it).

For me it is eating, whole grains (brown rice etc), whole grain breads, fresh fruit and veggies, lean protein, good fats. Avoiding processed foods.

It's both! It is partially calories in vs out. But it also make a huge difference on what you are eating.
