Cooked because it expands so much. Eating pasta is all about portion control.0

I buy pasta from tesco and it says on the packet that 75g of dry pasta will become 180g of cooked pasta.0

It's Market Pantry Whole Wheat Rotini from Target. Will go double check the box. I have plenty of calories left for dinner.0

Never mind. Box says 1 cup dry...0

As per the back of the box? dry. There is calorie counts for both though.0

just say no!

Dry since how long you cook it for and how much water it absorbs will vary but what will NOT vary is the original dry weight. If your goal is accuracy then you remove variables that could effect the weight, you don't add variables, i.e. water weight absorbed.0

1 serving of Pasta is 2 oz dry (uncooked). The longer you cook it the more it expands and weighs but it is water weight.0
