If you are losing on 900-1300 and not losing at 1300- 1800 calories a day, then why not try the 1200-1500 range. Also, make sure that you are meticulous with tracking your calories.

I don't know how you could possibly be hungry if you are eating 5+ times a day. Better question is do you stop eating when you are full. I think that is a bigger issue for most.

Oh and males who are on a calorie restricted diet for longevity purposes eat about 1900 calories a day every day.

I don't know if losing a lot of weight quickly is bad for you, but I do think that Yo Yo dieting definitely is bad for you. It probably is healthier to stay overweight forever then to yo yo diet your whole life. Think about what it is you are trying to accomplish long term.

If you use a pedometer then you can see how many more steps you take that day and add the difference to your exercise log. For instance if you normally walk 8000 steps in a day and on that day you walk 18000 steps, then you have exercised an extra 10,000 steps that day. Each 2000 steps is roughly a mile, so I would log…

I saw something similar recently about if you are hungry eat some broccoli. If you don't want the broccoli then you aren't that hungry. Same analogy as the apple except apples are delicious and I would definitely eat an apple even if I wasn't hungry. Broccoli is good too, but it doesn't curb my sweet tooth.

I only eat about 1600 calories a day well below my bmr of about 1900 and I hardly ever feel hungry. I eat breakfast everyday. I space my meals evenly and never skip a meal.
