thanks for all the advice. In response to some of the feedback. I am fully committed 100%. Sorry - quick fingers! That's a lot of calories no?? I'm fearful that if I eat that much in calories I'll gain more weight - I know that's probably a really stupid mentality BUT I REALLY want to lose weight! haha :)

Here's hoping that's the case!! haha - I workout 6 days a week for 30 minutes (pretty intensely too) and eat roughly 1450 calories give or take....Good luck to you too!

ok so if I did my math correct for a person of my size - 225lbs, 5'7" tall, 30 years old - my macros should be: Carb - 90g Protein - 68g Fat - 78g Does that sound right?

Thanks! I was having ground flax in the morning to get some more fibre. As for the exercise routine - do you think that Jillian Michaels Body Revolution is good enough for change?? or should I put some other exercises in?

Nope - unfortunately my TOM isn't for another 2 weeks. What would you suggest I should set my macros at for protein? Someone mentioned that my sugar should be lower - would you recommend that also? If so to what??

I make curry all the time since my common law partner is Indian. We have many indian cookbooks and purchase those boxes of indian spices. What I honestly do is cut out the amount of oil they suggest and only use about 2 tsp or less. Cuts the calories by ALOT!! The box brands that we use are "National" and "Shan". They can…

Exactly this ^^ I too used to have this problem, except that I would be gassy too. I went to the doctor and she told me to cut out gluten and dairy for a little while to see if that helped which it did (BUT IT WAS HARD TO DO!!). Getting tested for allergies is not covered by health insurance (in Canada anyways) therefore…

Great!! Thanks so much. Just wanted to see if there was a variance on that. When you track yours do you look up the walking portion and put how many minutes you walk and then the same thing with your running??
