For me it's the opposite, the gym mirrors make me look thinner than I really am :|

Thanks for this, it's got quite a variety of recipes :)

Even though I've still got a long way to go, I've found that when I feel all out of breath from working out hard, it doesn't hurt or feel like I'm dying anymore :D . And my recovery (from being out of breath) is a lot more quicker

The way this cat's tail is striped looks so cool

Great post :)

^Yep, this seems like it will be the case for me too :/

^Omgosh this! I can relate, for some reason the weight is dropping mainly from my lower body and (very!) slowly from my upper body, sigh :/

 The way you described it gave me a good laugh, thanks for the humour. Now a message for the OP, congratulations on the success of your weight loss journey  Great results!

^This! I 've only lost 15kgs so far (and have a lot more to go) but I'm already seeing where the loose skin is gonna be  Oh well, guess I might as well start working on letting it not bother me. P.S. I've been doing strength training since I began and it hasn't seemed to help. Might be because I've been carrying…

To already be at my goal weight (that's what I want right now).

I can relate. Initially after transitioning, my weight loss was still going well, but after that month my weight loss has now slowed too  I guess that's a given seeing that my calories were very low while on Optifast, but I didn't think it would slow down this much!? So atm I'm going to increase my cardio and see…

Are you using a food scale to weigh your food accurately? It may be that you're eating more calories than you realise. I noticed that when I used to guesstimate the weight of certain foods I was completely off the actual amount, sizes/portions can be deceiving.

I stayed on it for about two months and I lost 7kgs in those 8 wks. I most likely would have lost more had I truly stuck to the diet 100% but I'm still quite happy with those results :) It definitely helped me get off the plateau I was on. And as I transitioned back to regular food I had a bad couple of weeks in terms of…

Can't stop laughing at the kitten's reaction :D

Awesome job on the 10kg already lost  and best of luck with the gym sessions

Try using tdeecalculator.net , it gives recommended percentages for macros (for weight loss, maintenance, bulking). It's quite a useful site.

Motivating ☺ Thanks for sharing.

Great to hear/read about success and maintenance from someone who's been through the journey ☺ Thanks for sharing, and congrats on your weight loss

^Yep this is definitely a good tip  For me, watching Youtube videos on my phone helps pass the time so that I don't focus on how tired and sore I'm getting.

For me it doesn't seem to be too much (and as for this month I've been going everyday). I aim to do at least 30mins of cardio then 30-45mins strength-training, but then again the heaviest I'm currently lifting is 40kgs in deadlifts which is probably not much to others. Guess it depends on how intense your strength training…

Yep, I'm the same^

And off on a liking spree I go!

Ahaha, I always find this one funny

Greedy.

Yep, my endocrinologist put me on a VLCD (very low calorie diet). It basically cuts out a large amount of carbs so that my body is forced into burning the visceral fat for fuel instead of getting the energy from what I eat.

Hmmm, a very interesting thread, thanks for that link.

Wow that's amazing! Good for him for managing to lose so much
