I went from 435 to 265 from September 2018 to November 2019 with basically just diet and elliptical. Stayed between that low weight and 310-315ish from then until April 2022 with some swings back and forth by being a little less militant on my diet but picking up crossfit and olympic weightlifting and playing softball.…

My wife and I joined a co-ed softball team. It's the first time I've played in a couple of years but I played some in high school, college, and right after I graduated. We went to our first practice Tuesday night and honestly it was the most fun I've had playing sports since I was young kid. I had a ton of energy and just…

I have a month left in a Biggest Loser-style competition among friends and I'm neck and neck with one other guy. My goal is to hit at least 7 hours of sleep, 15k steps, and my daily WW point intake strictly every day for the next month so I can beat him out.

Recently replaced all the shirts in my closet again for the 3rd time and I've noticed its getting cheaper now that I'm out of big and tall sizes. Now comfortably in 40-42 pants/shorts and in XL shirts. Started uncomfortably tight in 54 pants/shorts and 4XL

Lol someone recently approached me at work and was like "you must've lost 50 lbs by now, that's awesome" I laughed and they started apologizing and said they just thought of a big number and sorry if they offended me. I had to explain that I was within a couple of pounds of hitting 150 lbs of total loss

Just replaced all of my clothes again for probably the third time. Started at size 54-56 pants and 4XL shirts and I'm now wearing size 40-42 pants and XL shirts.

Pretty comfortably under the 300lb mark now so my next goal is shooting for 150 lbs total loss which would be 283.6 lbs. About 13.5 lbs to go.

Trying to consistently track anything I ate before I put it in my mouth at work is what helped kill my snacking habit. Maybe it would help you?

Finally got in to the 200s for the first time since I was 18. Next goal is to get to a total loss of 150 which will be at 283.6. Was at 297.1 on my scale yesterday morning so less than 15 pounds to go.

Monday, I was in a meeting with our CEO and he congratulated me on my weight loss and said he was really proud of me because he knows personally how tough it can be to lose weight. Then yesterday, I was walking into work and a guy I worked with regularly when I was in the warehouse post-college said I was looking great and…

I think he's trying to track his gains but since he appears to be mainly focused on recomp just following the number on the scale doesn't really show the progress like he wants to.

A rest day for me I just do my morning exercise class. When I'm really going for it I'll add 2 20 minute walks during my workday and then do 30-60 minutes of cardio after I eat dinner at night while watching baseball. I generally decide its a rest day if I can't walk straight after the morning class.

I like WW because 1. I would get maniacal about tracking calories burnt and eaten and get really disappointed when the outcome on the scale didn't match my expectations based on the math. The point system has helped me ease out of the anxiety I personally would get from counting calories. 2. There is an added…

Today in my boot camp class that I'm going to we had a circuit that was a minute of explosive push-ups where you jump with hands and feet off the floor at the top of each rep. I'm still 310 pounds so the instructor told me I could modify by doing them on my knees and just pushing hard off the floor. I went for it and did 8…

Have you measured yourself to see if there have been changes that you might not be seeing on the scale?

They still taste delicious to me and are very tempting though. I wish I had the experience other people have mentioned about losing their taste for them.

I told myself I was giving up diet soft drinks at the beginning of March to give myself an extra boost since I was starting to plateau. I've had two since, once at a restaurant and once at work after a night where I couldn't sleep and I desperately needed caffeine (don't like coffee). I drink a lot more water now and…
