Same here! Back again but with a much better frame of mind. Tired of yoyo-ing. Feel free to add me, too!

Roasted chickpeas are awesome, just google any recipe. Really good with curry.

Any chance of waking up earlier? I have a difficult time eating at a deficit if I don't balance it with exercise, so I wake up before everyone else in the house and walk for an hour. Gives me some extra calories to play with.

Huge congrats from another 48 year old! This just made my weekend.

I walk every day, weather permitting. I aim for three miles on work mornings, and 4-5 on the weekends. It's fun, easy, and takes me to all sorts of fun places that I wouldn't pay attention to in the car. Modifying my diet is the main reason I'm losing weight, but walking is definitely a big help!

I wasn't able to scroll through all eleven pages here, but just tried GreeNoodles today, because I really, really love Ramen. They're good! And good for you if you cut down on the seasoning packet to reduce the sodium.

Fantastic! Looking great!

My story is very similar to yours, down to the years! In 2008 I was at my happiest and healthiest weight ever, and then started experiencing anxiety while exercising (I'm sure it had nothing at all to do with the exercise itself, just the fact that I had several gigantic life changes simultaneously). I fell back into…

Oh yes on the sodium - nearly 6000 mg for me, too. Awful! One thing about the sodium, though - I have really been watching my intake since I started this journey, and yesterday everything tasted way, way too salty. I didn't add salt while cooking, but our ham was smoked and it was loaded with salt. It's strange how just a…

I do it the way you would to measure for clothes: widest point for bust and hips, narrowest point for waist. I'm high waisted, so my waist measurements are really, really high - so I also do a "belly" measurement so I can track my progress that way, too.

I love edamame. And almond butter. And roasted chickpeas make a fantastic snack. Eggs. I've also just started eating greek yogurt...like the poster mentioned above - buy the plain, sweeten to taste (I use stevia) and throw in some fruit. It's great with blueberries. Kashi Go Lean is also high in protein and very filling…

I know I'll have to. In the past whenever I've stopped the weight has just crept back up. I want this to be my new way of living.

You don't have kids yet, take some time for yourself! Travel more, finish school and take care of yourself NOW because later, when you have your beloved and your kids and a mortgage, all of the above isn't impossible, but it sure ain't easy.

Not a small victory at all. I outgrew my wedding ring about 6 months ago and today I decided I would just TRY to put it on and see what happened. I am wearing my wedding ring again.

5'7", started in January at 226. Down 20 pounds. My goal weight is 140 (but I'll be thrilled when I hit 160!). Feel free to add me, too!

Curried chickpeas, either as a meal or roasted til they're crunchy as a snack.

ha ha!

Walden Farms calorie free anything. The alfredo sauce is a horror. Like chemicals and sugar. So wrong.

Best NSV ever! Thank you for making such a positive change in your life...and passing it on to others!

Yep! Love the recipe maker here!

Awesome work!

You look just beautiful! Those gym pictures are so inspiring - fit and fierce! Thank you for being an inspiration!

How's the nutrition in your food? I've found that if I don't really keep up the protein and fiber I am hungry all the time.
-
I definitely eat. I love to cook and am having way too much fun trying to revamp foods into healthier versions. I am also really, really into nutrition. You all can add me too, I need motivation! Down 15 pounds and about 40 to go, but might change that when I get there.

You look fantastic! What an inspiration!

You look amazing! And "fatwings", lol!
-
wow, what an inspiration! You look awesome!

I had to cut out processed sugar totally - I'm one of those folks who cannot eat one piece of chocolate - I'd want the whole bag. It's amazing how quickly the cravings went away though, once I cut sugar out of my diet. I do use stevia in my morning coffee, and I eat fruit - but no white sugar or products with sugar added.…

I sent you a request too - so sorry you're not getting support at home. :(
