  • Amazing difference! Congratulations! Look at those pins! Keep going and you'll be where you want to be before too long.
  • Incredible, what an amazing journey and how lucky you are to have such an inspirational lady in your life! Thanks for sharing
  • I've just seen this post, great way of looking at it. I've worked out I've lost 17.5% so far and have another 19% to go to get to goal of 168. Will check in each week from now on. Good luck everyone!!

  • Congratulations on your achievement - you can see a huge difference already!
  • Wow - you look amazing. Congrats on your hard work!
  • I think I've noticed a flaw in the whole 'you should eat back your calories' argument. Your daily 'break even point' which for me is about 2200 - BMRx1.2 for me takes account of a normal, lightly active, non exercise day. To lose 2bs per week - MFP says I should be eating 1200 per day. Yesterday I spent 2 hrs exercising…
  • I think you should look at your profile picture about looking back! You've come so far already! I'm about 9lbs into a weightloss that seems sometimes like a mountain to climb - But I look on here and read the success stories - no magic wands, just a lot of people that have worked Really hard to achieve amazing things and…
  • Only working out 3 times a week.
  • I'm going to open up my food diary again. I've worked out my BMR is about 1850, so I've estimated break even (sedentary lifestyle) is 2200 per day. I'm hitting 1000-1200 per day, not eating back my all calories from exercise - mainly because I'm not hungry enough too.. I've lost 3-4lbs in 3 weeks now. Feels as though I…
  • Thanks Emma! Still struggling to lose it but going to cut down my carbs further and up my protein to see if that helps! I do however, feel better and I think look healthier (it could just be psychosomatic!) so I'm feeling some good effects! :)
  • Thanks for this, I will check out the page. It still doesn't seem to be coming off but I'm going to persevere..
  • Wow! Congratulations! What an achievement, you look fab!
  • Hi, my brother and sister in law have done this diet for about 3 months now. They have steadily lost and find it works for them on a Monday and Tuesday each week; However I would have to say that - they eat pretty well the rest of the week, they drink too much probably but neither of them was really overweight before, they…
  • It's not my baby! My nephew - so no, def not breastfeeding :) I think I'm getting a pretty good range of nutrients plus taking additional vitamins. The main thing I'm cutting down on is carbs and upping protein. So basically I'm trying to eat chicken/ fish with green veg etc. Most of the calories in the evening is a good…
  • Wow, what an incredible achievement, you must be so proud of yourself!! Thanks for the inspiration!
  • I started on the Monday before last but have only taken the weight from the Saturday so guess I could have lost some 'water weight' prior to initial weigh in. Have always seen quick results in the first couple of weeks so was hoping for that quick boost I guess. Will persevere and update next week. Thanks for all the words…
  • Hi, Yes, 2lbs a week which given how much I have to lose didn't seem unreasonable. I'm 37yrs old, 5'6'', 17stone 8bs. rough body fat is 38%, don't know what my BMI is. I've been trying to stick to 1260 per day as per the guidelines, I'm not consciously trying to go under and on days I don't do exercise it seems to be…
  • Hi Mary, I too have done many diets over the years, I did lighterlife 4 years ago and lost 3 stone, but have put on 6.... realised the only way I'm going to lose it forever is to re-educate my eating habits long term. The water thing isn't something I'm good at, I drink quite a lot of tea, but am trying to cut down on the…
