Eating healthy does cost alittle more but in the long run it saves because for my husband and I, we have to pay any meds out of our pocket (we have insurance but doesn't cover meds)... so, if we can eat healthy maybe we won't have to buy meds so therefore, cheaper in the long run...

Bananas, oranges, or fruit that I peel I weigh without the peel. Any fruit that I eat with the peel on I weigh whole...like apples.

Ilike Oikos organic greek yogurt 0% but I like Fage as well. I like the thickness of Greek yogurt...I put in my smoothies for breakfast.
-
I add 1 tbsp. natural peanut butter, ground flaxseed, unsweetened cocoa powder. I did try cottage cheese and that wasn't too bad...black beans are good too (they blend well.)... just a few options.

---That is true. I know I am seeing that my clothes are much looser and my husband told me recently he can see a difference everywhere. Made my day! I seem to be losing inches more than "weight" on the scale.

-Congrats on your weight loss. I am tracking everything I eat...down to a piece of gum (LOL). I didn't realize how much I actually did eat...MFP keeps me on track and seeing others do this as well has really motivated me. I know everyone loses at a different rate... I try to eat around 1800 calories. It seems to be working.

I am not a doctor but I would think that would be too much water at one time for your kidneys... plus, your body needs water through out the day.
-
I use EVOO ( no more than 1 TBS)... sprinkle either cayenne(chili powder) or garlic powder and small amount of salt. Yummy
