Just added you, anyone can feel free to add me johnnygizmo76. I average about 100+ miles a month. You can also add me here on MFP if you want.

Be careful with the 'he is getting too thin' talk. Guys struggle with body image just the same as women, We just generally internalize it. Be supportive of how he wants his body to look. If you classify what he sees as success as 'sick looking' or 'too thin' it will hurt him.

Check out smartcoach.runnersworld.com they will let you build a plan for free (up to marathon length) but that will at least give you an idea. I've used it twice before and it was great!

It will also work as a laxative, therefore clearing out your GI. So it would make it seem like you are losing weight when really you are just emptied out. I personally love vinegar on all sorts of food for the flavor. I grew up putting salt and white vinegar on french fries down at the Old Orchard Beach pier in Maine.

Forerunner 220 - johnnyGizmo76 I like to run, add me!

I use Garmin Connect in conjunction with my Garmin Forerunner 220, this pushes workouts to MFP and also pulls weight and calories from MFP into Connect. So I log food/weight in MFP and Running syncs automatically via bluetooth.

I went from a tight 36" jean to needing a belt on my 32"s My favorite though is going from an 18" neck to a 14.5" neck. I got my jawline back.

I trust my FT-7 a whole lot more than machines. One exception: Runtastic. If I've updated my weight in runtastic to be accurate and do a GPS track of my run, it is usually within 10-20 calories of my HRM. Even on a treadmill, it was a whole lot more accurate than the machine compared to my HRM.

Diet and Running from January to April. (was 10 pounds heavier at beginning of January) Diet and Insanity In April and continuing.

Was working on a project at work that was a little 'hackish' and as I was walking by with some parts, a colleague said "Hey johnny, where are you going with that gizmo?" and I loved it.

I'm in week 4 and it starts to make sense as you get further in. Without knowing it, your core is getting a killer workout from Insanity. (Then add in Cardio Abs and you KNOW it). But you will start to feel your abs contracting on their own in week 3ish. Here in week 4, I've found that when he says that, I can honestly say…

Been wearing my FT7 during INSANITY and I forget it's there.

Thanks!

I'm ramping up from my really low 1300 to my INSANITY 2300 over the next few weeks.
-
Hey there! I'm Johnny I lost 5 pounds last fall then lost 45 pounds in the last 3 months (from 230 to 185) running and doing a calorie restricted diet. I started INSANITY this week, workout and diet. Looking for all the motivation, encouragement and accountability I can get! I am ready to make this thing happen!
-
I recently got told Michael J Fox, but I'm not sure about that. I would prefer Keith Urban.
-
I'm 50 pounds down and have 20 to go. I knew my restricted diet needed changed and coinciding that with INSANITY was the perfect time. It is a little hard getting in all the protein without too much fat though.
