I think that's what it was. He was limping more on his back leg, and we put him on pain meds, and it totally messed up his liver, among other things. He's been off the meds for 2 weeks now and his blood work has improved, and the couple times she ended up next to him (kids not paying attention), she didn't do anything at…

Awesome thread. I'm with you on the over-analyzing part... but my best friends have always been guys too. I LOVE guy friends. So if he keeps inviting you to things and you want to go, just go! And enjoy his company... there's nothing wrong with that either way. But definitely mention that you're not into big crowds (I…

Yeah... tell me about it. I'm sitting here all alone after my friend asked me 4 hours ago if I wanted to go run errands with her... but I guess family showed up unexpectedly so I'm alone while my husband is playing D&D with our other friends, and I made him take the kids too because my friend was supposed to be picking me…

Honestly, it's absolutely impossible for me to lose if I don't exercise... I'm just too hungry and miserable on 1300 calories a day and I need the extra calories that I gain from being active. I mean, when I started out with 80 lbs to lose, sure. Now that I want to lose the 20 I regained, I just can't do it (I've been sick…

I'm actually kinda over cookies because it's been a bit insane here lately when it comes to those, and I don't feel like cooking... so I really have no idea!

I do 3oz typically too but that's still nowhere a restaurant portion, lol. And don't forget all the oil that is typically in sauces as well... But 2oz (that's around 120g cooked for me) is nowhere near enough unless I have a lot of other things on my plate. But again, there are people who are apparently satisfied by kid…

Lol 400 calories of pasta is definitely not 'a big plate'.

I tried the new Chobani flavors... I love the snowball flip. The peanut butter cup one is ok, I just don't care for the chocolate bits. I love the limited edition caramel Chobani though.

The mindset won't change. It really does help when you learn to cook lower calorie meals that are actually tasty though. Check websites like skinnytaste, it's lower calories but typically pretty satisfying (I like their meatloaf better than restaurants' and it has less calories). If you make your own burgers, you have more…

Most of them, yeah. Some of the local bakery though... totally worth it. Same here and that's one of the reasons why I'm failing at the maintenance thing. Food is my #1 hobby (I mean... I'm going back to school to be a pastry chef in a month!). Always loved food and I've accepted that I'm never going to be skinny because…

How much do they weigh though? I mean, it's 35 calories for 1.5oz, is there any way those big bagels are actually so light? Even then though.. that's the weight of bagel thins and they are still 100 calories.

I used to eat a box of Mr Kiplings mini pies in one sitting when I lived in France, lol.

Ok Oh! yogurts were on sale. Good but not worth the price or calories imo. I really miss Oh my yog...

Chips Ahoy are the only cookies I wouldn't even waste calories on! Now, Pepperidge Farm... oh yeah.
-
I saw the Oikos oh! and it's definitely on my list if it goes on sale (I'm not paying $1.50 a cup, it's ridiculous).

Did you get an ultrasound? That's the only way to see them.

Symptoms have got worse for me in the last 5 years also... I'm 40 now. But I've had cramps from exercise too - I ended up in the ER once because of it actually - and I found out that I have ovarian cysts. I would definitely get it checked.

I look 5 months pregnant the first couple days of my period (and it's super painful too). I'm a special case (sigh), but it's totally normal to retain some water at that time.

I gained back 25 lbs in 4 years (out of 80).. partly because of health issues... but I can honestly say that I'm happier too. I'm so miserable trying to keep a low weight. I still exercise because that's the easy part for me, but food has always been a struggle (after 5 years I'm just sick of frozen veggies and chicken…

You might be hungry because of food choices, and you might not lose much because you're underestimating your calories.
-
I'm just way pickier than I used to be. I would just eat anything as long as it tasted good enough, lol. Now not so much. Honestly though - lots of things are just too sweet anyway. Soda, juice, oreos, most pies... just way too sweet. I just didn't used to care (and I can still down a sleeve of oreos) - I don't think it's…

Yes! My Whole Foods didn't have it anymore last time I checked.

That yogurt that had 3 different kinds of layers in it... from a year ago or something. It was from a popular brand too... just can't remember the name :( I only found it for a few months and it disappeared. Waffle waffle brand waffles. My shop rite stopped carrying them a few months back. I'm so sad.

Fruit has no place in salads.

I'd buy those on sale but 14g of protein for 280 calories is a joke. I'm just so peeved by all those 'protein' products that have such a bad ratio of protein per calories.

The only thing I can think of is Nutella. I used to count one serving in my crepes and only really put 1/2 serving. But I started using the food scale after just a few weeks, and it's been 5 years...

Omg lol.

That would be fine... with some sugar LOL.

I'm not one of the people who manage to roast frozen veggies and not make them mushy lol.
