Zumba is as effective as you make it.. Make it a point to finish drenched in sweat :) I do have to say a class is the best way to go cause there are some psychos in there that get you super pumped and ya go that much harder. Have fun!

Zumba is good, you will get the hang of it. My wife was the same way and now she's bouncing around the gym doing that! Just Dance for the Wii is fun. Not coordinated is no prob since it kinda shows you the moves... who cares anyway right? :)

I wouldn't call it a nasty habit :) Stretching actually can cause your muscles to be weaker so I don't do it very often. After my workout then yes, I'll loosen em up a bit. It's one of those topics that some people swear by it and others just don't it
