I no longer look like a bad Dolly impersonator, it took forever to find the right size bras size. After nearly a yr I STILL forget I don't need large shirts anymore.
-
I have a hard time sorting laundry, my clothes are almost the same size as my kids. My 11 yr old steals all my shirts. My husband can't keep his hands off my butt. So many people have been motivated, by my weight loss, that I had to start a fit club. AND I love my arms so much that I flex anytime I wear a tank top & spend…

thanks!

I can understand your frustration & appreciate your honesty. A few tips... first of all DO NOT eat only 800-1200 cals. Your body will actually go into starvation mode, hold onto the fat as defense & u'll start burning muscle. I'm 5'4 150lbs & have to eat at least 1800 daily. The important thing is to find a workout you…

Unfortunetly there is no such thing a spot training. Just keep doing what ur doing, it will firm up in time. That said, Insanity really helped tone my abs... and arms, & chest, & legs. Haha, it gave me the best results of my life!!! I dropped 23.5 inches in 2 months.

It looks awesome! It will be released this summer after the BB Las Vegas Summit event

I LOVE Combat! I have 2 wks left. I've shed inches off my thighs & stomach, my 2 problem areas. My arms were already pretty cut from Insanity, but they're more cut now & my shoulders look great. Can't wait to rock tank tops for the first time ever this summer. Have fun!

UR body is clearly needing more. Could be your not consuming enough, in which case ur body will go into starvation mode & actually cling to fat for dear life. Or. ur not fueling ur body w/the right things. I used to snack all night, til I found the right supplement/ meal replacement shake. Now that I'm getting proper…

Sure! We all need accountability partners sometimes. I'm 32 & live in CO, I'm a CNA & Beach Body coach, so I've been learning a lot about nutrition lately. I was actually surprised to find that I had to increase my caloric intake to break through a plateau. ( no, that does not mean I can have twinkies & fast food.)
-
I'm in the same boat! I haven't added a ton of friends, and most of them don't log in... or don't bother to comment. I'm 32. My interests are outdoors, camping, hiking, & cardio. Not looking to lose a ton of weight, just need to tone up a bit. Feel free to add me.

I can relate!!! I lost 23.5 inches in 2 months & went down 2 cup sizes!!! I was happy at first, I no longer feel like a Dolly impersonator & can wear any shirts I want.... but I'm still adjusting & don't want to lose more.

Sounds like ur serious about making some healthy changes. Think baby steps here, make sure to set realistic goals. Try adding 1 healthy "new" food a wk, or going for a nice walk. Also, have they checked for an inner ear inbalence? It could definitely cause dizziness.
-
I'd suggest increasing ur caloric intake. Based on ur stats & exercise routine, ur body may be going into starvation mode. U'll burn muscle & hold onto fat. I was at a plateau when eating 1200cal. I increased to 1800 & started losing weight.
-
not to mention, muscle weighs more than fat!
-
I see a difference in ur arms! All those push ups pay off! Focus on ur measurements, not the scale!
-
I completely agree. You'll see more results w/ a tape measure than a scale. I lost 23.5 inches in 2 months, but only 7lbs. Because muscle weighs more than fat. That said, if you consistently stay at the same weight, make sure your eating enough cals for ur height, weight, & type of exercise. Many people plateau when they…

Hi there! I log in every day, & like to motivate others. In fact, that's why I became a coach. A bit about myself... I have 2 kids ages 9 & 11. I've NEVER been athletic. Til last Fall when I started getting serious about getting healthy. Since then I've gone from a 14 to an 8. The sz isn't nearly as important as how I…
-
I've fallen victim to the same mindset. Finally learning that less is not always more. A simple equation is weight &12 equals cals needed. then round up. exp.... 150 lbs x 12 equals 1800 cals.
-
This may sound odd, but do you ear enough? Lack of cals will cause ur body to go into starvation mode, u'll burn muscle instead of fat & metabolism will slow to preserve the fat u've got. Don't give up.
-
Hey everybody, I just wanted to encourage you all. Yes, Insanity is crazy hard. but it's SO worth it. I only lost 7 lbs. BUT I shed 23.5 inches in 2 months! Since last fall I've gone from a 14 to an 8. Keep pushing play!!!!
-
I can completely relate. I've been at a plateau for a while now & just figured out I'm consuming 600 cals less than needed daily! I train like a beast & wasn't getting results. Starting tomorrow I'll aim for 1,800 (instead of 1,200) Good luck & feel free to add me, we can encourage one another to eat more ;)
-
STEP away from the scale!!!! I didn't lose much weight, but I shed 23.5 inches & built muscle. All those killer push ups toned my arms too. Just compare measurements, it's a much better indicator of progress.
-
It's SO worth it! I lost 23.5 inches in 2 months w/ Insanity! I earned that shirt! I'm doing round 2 now. So if u need a fitness buddy feel free to add me.
-
I'd suggest an Insanity/ P90X hyrbrid, that way ur knees will have "rest days" Also, make sure to drink chocolate milk or a recovery drink to repair micro tears.
-
If caloric intake is too low u'll burn muscle. Make sure you get plenty of protein as well.
-
I'd suggest a P90X/ Insanity hydrid. It's a great balance. Cardio 1 day, strength training the next. If u need the hybrid schedule, let me know. (p.s. I'm doing the hybrid now.)

I remember how nervous I was about month 2. It def takes it up a notch, but by now ur body should be conditioned for it. I had great results during both months, but I developed my abs more in month 2. Hang in there, IT"S WORTH IT!!!!
-
Beach body makes an incredible recovery drink!
-
Yep, I agree! More fiber & protein. PB2 is amazing! It's a dehydrated peanut butter & best of all it's only 1 gr of fat & 45 cal. You can find it at health food stores & online. I also drink an awesome shake that has curbed my munchies...I used to snack all night. Now that I'm getting proper nutrients, I stay satisfied.
-
You can do it ladies! I lost 23.5 inches in 2 months. I'm going home for my brothers wedding next wk & I can't wait to rock my sleeveless dress. Now fitness is my addiction. Find a workout that you love & stick w/ it :D
