Don't call it a fad. It may be a fad for some people...however you are forgetting that doctors recommend this way of eating for those who are insulin resistant and those who have PCOS like myself. And it really helps those people. The rudeness on this board is aggravating.

I may be wrong but I believe low carb is up to 100... keto is 20 to 50 and I am doing keto. Keto is pretty hard core...maybe just try eating less than 100 carbs to start...and go lower if you feel necessary

Don't get rid of the veggies!!! Get rid of the fruits! It's just that some veggies such as corn have carbs...and no starchy veggies like potatoes. I'm adding you! I'm restarting my keto after having a lot of success with it a few years ago.

That's very true, thanks! A problem that i'm having, is that even though i'm eating well, i'm still struggling to keep in under calories. And when I am under calories, I'm starving. In fact when I'm over calories, I'm still starving!

I felt generally terrible every day. On my anniversary my boyfriend took me to a beautiful hotel. Inside was a hot tub encased in THREE full WALL mirrors. I saw myself in every angle all at the same time... it was brutal.
