  • South park! Weighing foods could help you in accurate logging. That is what has helped me the most.
  • :) glad I could help. I find they satisfy a sweet tooth pretty well since the fruit themselves are pretty sweet and the dark chocolate adds some more flavor. Something else I like to make is blending one frozen banana (or 1 and a half, whichever fits your calories/liking of course), a small bit of soy milk or almond milk…
  • Not at all. They are quite the opposite actually lol. I have sensitive teeth so I have to eat them very delicately. They aren't hard as rocks. Its like biting into a cold candy bar.
  • Something that helps satisfy my sweet tooth is the Dole Dippers. They are strawberries or bananas covered in chocolate. The strawberry pack is only 60 calories and the banana pack is 100 calories. https://www.dole.com/Products/Dippers/Strawberry-Dippers https://www.dole.com/Products/Dippers/Banana-Dippers
  • Fitness Blender is great. They provide well rounded workouts and workout programs for all levels of fitness. I find their videos very helpful because they have videos of different duration, type of exercise, and show modifications.

  • Great post. As a bio major I found it informative. I would like to know the sources for your post for further research. Thanks
  • I can't find the app in the Google Play Store either.
  • Ah, Thank you! I've tried to read this information in other threads and it never really made sense, but when you put it into math equations like that I can follow it easier. I feel like this is common sense and I'm dumb about it (for a bio major haha). I can do 1,373 calories a day. Sometimes I work at night (2pm-9pm) and…
  • Ooo I do eat soup quite often :/ yeah my body loves salt. Thank you so much!
  • Yeah I am being honest because I want honest answers lol. What I do is Kayla Itsines bikini body guide which is circuit training roughly 28 mins (it takes me 30-40 cause I'm a weakling lol) 3 days a week. Then on alternative days I walk for 30 mins and add a fitnessblender video, the times vary. So I exercise roughly 5-6…
  • Do you mean eating 1134 calories and logging my exercise and eating those calories back? I am excited to get a scale, just to see how horrible I guesstimate haha. Thank you for your comment.
  • Thank you for your comment :) I looked at scoobysworkshop. I put my activity level as moderately active (3-5 days) incase I over estimate how much I burn during a workout. It says my BMR is 1480, TDEE is 2294, and daily calories based on step 6 is 1835. Not really sure how to use this information to gauge how many calories…
  • This makes sense. I just want to make sure I am eating enough for a fairly active person instead of doing damage to my metabolism or body. But what you said makes sense. I guess I will just have to go down to 1,200-1,300 calories and see what happens. Thanks :)
  • I'm on week 2 however I missed the Friday workout because I am sick. :/ Does anyone do any other workouts along with the Bikini Body Guide? I'm thinking of doing yoga after the resistance training and doing Jillian Micheal's 30 day shred every other day (3 days a week) on LISS days.
  • Starting today!!
  • On Week 8. Keep going!
  • Can't believe I finished Week 7 last week. Its surreal to me to think I am able to run 30 plus minutes now. I'm still slow though, takes me 43 mins to run 2.5 miles. :( But now I'm gonna run until I reach 5k and try to improve my time. Sometimes when I run, I get a stitch in my stomach, like near my lung. I guess it's like…

  • Haha that shirt is great! I might get one. I use the treadmill right now since it's a bit too cold out for me.

  • haha me too. I just know some people have said it's better to have a breathing pattern when it comes to running. I try not to over think it.

  • Your endurance/stamina will get better trust me. I remember when I first started, the 90 secs seemed like torture. Now I can run 25 mins. Keep going!

  • That's amazing! I hope I can get to that point. Do you have any breathing pattern when running? I find that if I try to control my breathing (ex. Inhale 3 exhale 2) it makes me feel more tired and I focus too much on it. I just listen to music and go.

  • 24 mins?! Wow that's super fast! I hope to be that fast. That's very inspiring. How long did it take you to train for the 10k and half marathon?

  • Soooo, Feels like forever since I've had an update post. School started again and I have been busy. Anyways, I've been on week 6, I believe, and I can run the full 25 mins however I go so slowwww :(. I only run 1.6 miles during that time instead of the 2.5 miles. I continue to run after the 25 mins until I reach 2.2 miles…

  • I need to do this! I've been doing the C25k program on my treadmill and the display is distracting and makes me focus more on the time then on what show I'm trying to watch. The more I focus on the display the more tired I feel.
  • I'm on week 6! Keep going!
  • Yeah Sauconys are pretty comfy. Thank you for your response!
